what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and thats what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys.

We spent two peaceful days here. The place is around an hour out of Kandy and twenty minutes from Gampola. Surangas tour of the property was a highlight - he explained the ethics behind the property and we were able to smell and taste the fresh produce. We were impressed with the food and it was great to see garden ingredients in our meals. At the end of our stay, we felt well fed and relaxed.

This was perhaps one of the best places we have stayed in outside a city. The views were spectacular, mountains, tea plantation and spice garden. The infinity pool overlooking the lush plains and mountains was remarkable. Suranjan the care take and assistant manager made sure personally that all our needs were looked after well. He is also an exceptional cook and his food was '5 Star Hotel' quality .We did the spice garden and tea plucking tour in the surrounding area with Suranjan and learnt all about tea and spices - well worth it, Suranjan is a wealth of knowledge. The rooms were large, clean and well fitted, the wifi was fast. Breakfast in the morning in the Veranda, overlooking the pool with the sound of birds was something to experience!

Amazing view, good food, peaceful and relaxing. The staff are attentive. Lovely gardens.
The Sri Lankan breakfast was a little plain compared to others we had. Just hoppers and onion, no curry or dhal. The hotel is wonderful but very remote. If you want peace and quiet its great. Drinks are also expensive, the food in the free cooking class is charged and there is a 25% combined service charge and tax.

Totally loved this place. The manager Mr. Suranga is a gem and made sure that everything was perfect and made the stay very special for us. Food was amazing.
The one and only thing... getting into the bathtub was a bit cumbersome

Wonderful boutique hotel in tea plantation with a very beautiful garden, almond a botanical one. Tea picking experience and guided walk through 20 acres plantation. Pool with amazing view. Great for pictures, unfortunately a bit cold. Friendly manager gave us a tour of the estate, beautiful view of the countryside. Food was great! Especially home made breakfast with ingredients from own garden highly recommendable. Great entrance hall with comfortable couches and nice terrace outside with sunbeds and tables for breakfast and dinner.
Unfortunately beds are quite hard and uncomfortable considering price level of accommodations. Might become cold in the night. Be aware that very beautiful location, however around 15-20 from Gampola away, respectively around 1 hour from Kandy.
