Our stay was truly wonderful. The property is well maintained, spotless, and offers a stunning view from the patio. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy beautiful sunsets and to have breakfast in the mornings, especially since the breakfast (we opted for Sri Lankan food) is absolutely delicious.
The location is excellent, just about 10 minutes from town and the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, making it a convenient and central base for exploring the area. Fazly, the owner, and Malik were exceptional hosts, attentive, helpful, and always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.
This place is a true hidden gem, and we highly recommend it. They genuinely make you feel at home from the moment you arrive!

Fazyl Is an amazing host, he took splendid care of us since before our arrival, even suggesting a wonderful place for dinner in the center.
The apartment is modern and ecologically thought, there's even a lift to carry the luggage upstairs!
Welcome drink, nice chats, spacious and clean room with an amazing terrace looking over to Kandy.

Very comfortable and peaceful stay, in the perfect location (just above Kandy town) with gorgeous views from the terrace and nature all around! The sunset was spectacular! The hospitality was perfect. Fazly understands what westerners want and has designed a comfortable home stay, first place we found in Sri Lanka that lived up to its score. He helped us plan our time in the most efficient and pleasing way for us. We even considered extending. Highly recommend!

We felt very lucky to find this amazing accommodation in Kandy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with A/C and a great view overlooking the city.
We also appreciated the kitchen and common area. Breakfast was so delicious and filling.
Fazly, the host, was friendly and helpful. He suggested a perfect tour day for us, where we visited the main sights of Kandy.

This property had a beautiful view and a large, cozy room. There were some yoga mats provided which I happily used to get in a little workout and stretch session. Fazly was a very kind host, and super attentive! He helped to arrange a couple of drivers for me, and made a really delicious and large breakfast. I wish I could have stayed another night!

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The guesthouse is located just outside Kandy, which makes it a perfect escape from the hectic city, while still being close enough to easily reach the centre — just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away.
The highlight is the spacious terrace with views over the city, nature, and even the railway tracks — a charming detail. The location is ideal for visiting the botanical gardens, exploring Kandy, or planning day trips in the area.
Our host, Fazly, was incredibly helpful and genuinely eager to improve his service. He gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and helped us plan a full-day tuk-tuk tour. We spent the morning in the beautiful botanical gardens, visited the market and shopping mall in the afternoon, stopped at the White Buddha for a peaceful view over the city, and ended the day with a lovely dinner in town.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped. We really appreciated the little details: plenty of hangers, hooks on the wall, a large mirror, and well-placed shelves in the bathroom. It’s clear that Fazly has put a lot of care into making guests feel comfortable.
Breakfast was another highlight. Every morning we enjoyed something different — fresh fruit, a fried egg, tasty coffee — served outside on the terrace. You can even opt for a Sri Lankan breakfast if you like.
There’s a communal kitchen, free tea and coffee, and a cosy living room with a sofa — perfect for reading or relaxing.
A wonderful place with a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Feel home is exactly as the name indicates: it feels like home! Fazly is an incredible host and extremely kind. He welcomed us with open arms and gave us a very comfortable and beautiful room. The location is just a little outside the city which was just perfect for us - we don’t like the nuisance of the city and prefer greenery every time. The facilities were great and the view was amazing.
There was a small issue with the toilet seat but Fazly fixed it immediately. He is very open to feedback which I think says a lot about the kind of host he is - one that listens to the needs and wants of his customers. Thank you Fazly.

The accommodation is a ten-minute tuk-tuk ride out of the hectic city center and is a quiet hideaway. The terrace is magnificent - you have a great view over the city. Everything is very clean and the bathrooms are very spacious. On top there is a big shared living room and kitchen in which you can brew a tea anytime you want.
The place is true to its name - Feel Home!
Next to the nice accommodation you will get amazing support from the owner. Fazly is very nice and offered us great help to find ourselves around the city - what to do, what to eat, and also how to get around. He even organized us a day trip to the lions rock and we saw several temples on the way (highly recommended). That made our life easy and we enjoyed every bit of our stay.

The accommodation that Fazly provides meets every traveller’s needs when exploring Sri Lanka. It is spotlessly clean, the rooms are large with gorgeous views, the beds perfect and the bathroom bright, clean and with constant hot water. Plus there is a kitchen for use which allows tea coffee and filtered water at any time. Fazly is a wonderful communicator and organized a Tuk Tuk to pick us up and take us to Feel Home and which is a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride from the Train Station. Our time in Kandy was very short so Fazly also helped us to organize the main attractions that we wanted to see . I felt very privileged to have stayed in Feel Home and to have met Fazly.

Even though we arrived in Kandy by bus which was very hectic… Once we entered the gate and Fazly welcomed us we immediately felt very home!
The room and the facilities are perfect. The shower in the bathroom was the best we had so far (been travelling for 2 weeks now and had 5 different accommodations).
This hotel is very close to the city centre of Kandy, but like I said before traffic is crazy here. This could also be because there is a big event happening this weekend and a lot of people were out doing shopping.
Back the Fazly,… what a kind man! I must say that his English is the best we’ve heard so far and he helped us in every best way possible. I was sad we only stayed for 1 night, I would’ve loved to get to know Fazly even better than we already did!
About the facilities,… there is a kitchen which you can us including a water filter for clean drinking water (very nice!). The room came with airconditioning and very thought out furniture so you can hang your clothes or place your bag.
If you have your own tuktuk you can park it behind the gate for safe parking, very nice!
Actually the only thing we could complain about are the ants, but to be honest they are almost everywhere. Perhaps Fazly, if you read this, maybe there is some special stuff that keeps the ants out and than your accommodation will receive 11 out of 10 points from us.
