A very quiet place to stay that you can walk around in mountain. The place is 10mins from Candy Lake by car. It’s a beautiful place for us to relax and rest in Candy. The owner family are very hospitable and provide big and delicious breakfast. The terraced garden is very attractive with many kinds of plants. All the surroundings and lovely monkeys are really natural and amazing for us. We would like to visit again!

We had a very nice stay at e-stay in Kandy. The host family was more than friendly and it felt like home to us very soon and easily.
Our room was big, clean and had a great view from the nice balkony.
We had a very good breakfast.
We wished that we could stay for another night.
The e-stay is not in the city center but it is only a 10 minute Tuktuk ride and wasn't a problem for us. It was a quiet and peaceful place.
Be careful in the shower, the floor can be very slippery ;)

The accommodation was very clean, and the host family was lovely. Oshan organised transportation for us. They provided a lovely breakfast and scrumptious tea. Highly recommend staying here.

This home stay is thankfully out of the chaos of the city but the host hooked us up with a tuk tuk driver who picked us up at the train station and delivered us to the lodging. The next day , for $22 US, the driver drove us all over Kandy to see all the sites. It was a perfect day.

The hosts were amazing. They were very friendly. They answered all of our questions about the Tooth Temple. They also answered our questions for the rest of our trip in other cities and they advised us on specific destinations. The room was also extremely clean.

The owners are really nice and helpful people. We felt really welcomed. View from the balcony was outstanding. The room itself was really good.
The location is on the hill, so it generally took longer and more expensive to get a taxi / tuk tuk. However, it wasn't a great inconvenience.

A lovely place set just a few minutes out of the hustle and bustle of Kandy in the hills. We only stayed one night but loved it here. Oshan was a great host and he and his family were so welcoming and friendly and spoke great English. Great traditional breakfast too. Would definitely stay again

A very peaceful location which is a blessing which is not in the very busy centre. 10 minute tuk tuk ride from Kandy, really is not a problem. Beautiful room overlooking trees and if you are lucky you will see the odd monkey. Morning sounds you hear are the birds so beautiful. Breakfast first class just like a Hotel. Oshan and his beautiful family are such wonderful people, so friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. You can actually walk slowly down the hill into Kandy with the beautiful views at the side of the road if you wanted to.
There is nothing to dislike about this accommodation! First Class.

Oshan and his family made me feel welcome even before arrived. Oshan arranged for me to be picked up from the train station and offered dinner after I arrived.
The guesthouse is located in the peaceful hills above Kandy and Oshan’s father is a very keen advocate for the surrounding environment. A highlight for me was hiking the first stage of the Pekoe Trail with him.
All of the Sri Lankan dishes prepared by Oshan’s mother were delicious which made eating at the guesthouse a great option.
Oshan is keen to assist with his superb local knowledge, arranging tours and helping to organise travel from Kandy. This type of assistance makes travelling in Sri Lanka so much easier.
The room I stayed in had a great balcony overlooking forest which was a lovely place to sit and relax.

A true, genuine, authentic, lovely homestay. It was so nice to be around all the family! Mom and Oshan's wife prepared meals, Dad offers hike to Pekoe Stage 1 viewpoint. Oshan is around for anything and everything. All speak great English. Teamwork=dreamwork!

Oshan and his lovely family were extremely welcoming, warm and friendly. They offered assistance and advice about things to see and do in Kandy, and sourced tuk tuk drivers whenever we needed one.
The room was extremely clean and tidy and well appointed. We especially loved the balcony and being able to see across the tree tops and observe the colourful birds in the trees.
The breakfasts were delicious with a wide range of Sri Lankan food like roti, curried vegetables, hoppers with eggs, range of juices etc, yum yum yum !
We ate in the family dining room and chatted with his family who were so friendly. It made us feel very valued as guests. We would definitely come again ?.
We enjoyed the quietness and being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Some tuk tuk drivers had a little trouble finding the house...we had to direct them so advise guests to take a mental note of the location and local signage to help. Not a big issue as they always got there !

Cannot praise this place highly enough. Modern clean and comfortable en suite room in a family home. The room feels separate from the home so you don't feel you're intruding & have privacy.
Oshan and his family are warm, welcoming and easy going. They are full of knowledge and advice to make the most of your visit.
The home is located high on a hillside over Kandy a short tuk tuk ride from the bustle of the city.
We really struggled to find any negatives.
All we can say was the 2 nights we were there were very windy making it difficult to enjoy the private balcony and quite noisy through the night. A very small negative in a lovely stay.
