A very homey homestay experience. Large home with a few rooms. The owners were extremely welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They cooked us a great dinner for our one night stay. The pool is lovely. Bathroom was fantastic! Modern and very clean. It’s a bit on the outskirts of Kandy, but that worked perfect for us as we were just passing through. It’s not a hotel or resort so the rooms are a bit basic, but very comfortable and we are so glad we stayed there. Highly recommend if you want to experience some true Sri Lankan hospitality.

We had the best time with Anusha and his wife. The house is beautiful, the rooms ard so clean and sapcious. Kandy is a busy city and the villa is a quiet retreat. We ate both nights at the villa and honestly that was thr most authentic and tasth meals we had in Sri Lanka. I wish the hosts the very best in life as they are wonderful people...

The hosts were superkind! Very helpful and ready with many suggestions. The room was amazing and the views from the terrace ditto. The location is great for those who want to stay in a quiet place away from the bustle of Kandy. That also means there aren't shops or cafes nearby. Still, it's also close to the Botanical garden and roads south to the tea plantations. In all, a very nice place!

The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and super nice! They gave us good recommendations and we also took a cooking class with them and had a lovely time. The villa is beautiful with a really nice sun deck. The location is a bit far out from Kandy which is really nice to get some peace and enjoy relaxed time! I highly recommend!

Large airy rooms, beautifully decorated, great location/view, nice pool, fantastic terrace, lovely food and kind hosts. We'd been sightseeing for 6 days and we're pretty tired so this was a perfect place to relax and cool off. Perfectly located for a walk down to the amazing Botanical Gardens, get a tuk back!
A sign to the property would've been helpful as tuks/taxis struggled to find the property.

It's not easy to summarize our satisfaction in a few words. This place is magic !!! The house is beautiful and very smartly decorated. The garden is a piece of paradize with a refreshing pool. The place is surrounded by nature. The view is fantastic. The rooms are modern, well furnished and huge. Our bed was comfortable and pretty large. The shower is a masterpiece. The access to the owner's fridge is very convenient. Easy walking distance (15-20 minutes) to the Botanic Garden. Food is home made by the owner's and of such a great quality. Breakfast was diversified, excellent and so tasty! Dinner was simply incredible! Home cooked, so many flavours and multiple dishes. The owners are kind and helpful. This place is warmly and honestly recommended. It deserves 5 stars and builds a wonderful escape from busy Kandy. We feel lucky and a bit sad to leave. Thanks for all!!!

One of the best stays we have experienced in Sri Lanka wish we had stayed longer. The family was so friendly and welcoming, they have a beautiful home and accommodation for guests. Its very peaceful right next to the river , (away from the busy centre) with views over the river from your room and from the dining area. The owner was super helpful, he took me to his private doctor to help me get antibiotics for a chest infection on a Sunday night! The food is freshly prepared in front of you for breakfast which we thought was such a great addition to be able to observe. They have great taste in vintage cars too!!!

A calm property with a view of Mahaweli Ganga. We did stargazing and enjoyed the evening playing songs from our favorite albums. The hoppers and curry that the host prepared for breakfast is hands down one of the best.
The toiletries provided were a bit lacking. It needs more foot mats. It doesn't have ingredients for making instant coffee/tea and doesn't have sufficient cutlery.

The hospitality of the hosts, they are super nice, they played with our 2y daughter. The breakfast was good. To be honest for that amount of money, at first sight it looked good, they had wifi, hot water, and a nice room. Everything we needed for one night.
But later there was a huge, really huge cockroach in our bed while our daughter slept there. My wife was so afraid, she couldn't go to sleep after. Without that, the score would be much better. We understand location, nature and everything but unfortunately for us that was a really big deal. We also missed a trash can in room/toilet.

Perfect location on the lake away from hectic kandy city center (only 10 minutes by tuk tuk which the host arranged for us at a very good price) we saw many exotic birds and monkeys. The room is very clean and has all necessities. We did the cooking class on site which was exceptional. The food was AMAIZING. Breakfast (more like brunch- there was quote a lot of food) consisted of traditional food that was prepared in front of you.
