The location was pretty good, we were at the tail end of our stay and were pretty tired so didn't explore the area too much.
The hosts were friendly and made us delicious food for breakfast and dinner.
We ended up leaving the property a night early. The beds weren't super comfortable and neither was the furniture in the common area. With no aircon in the common/lounge space our group of 6 who were hoping to spend time together found ourselves staying in our individual rooms more because it was too warm to be out of the aircon.
Great spot if you just want somewhere to sleep, but if you are wanting a "fancy" villa to stay in and relax together, this probably is not the place for you (or us).

It was amazing, villa and territory are clean and beautiful! Big thanks to the stuff and boss, who helped us with everything! We really enjoyed! Food was great, facilities nice, everyone helped us, it’s so close to ocean - it’s unbelievable !!! With lots of love !
Slow internet(not only on villa, but on Sri Lanka at all) , on booking says that the have couch-bed , but it’s not a bed, it’s a really small couch, that you only can seat on. But the bedrooms were very good

We stayed as a family of four in this beautiful and comfortable villa right by the beach. We had a wonderful stay delighted by the kind and helpful staff at Lohas Beach Villa. The landscape was gorgeous with lucious green trees and planrs and with comfortable different lounge areas. The bedrooms were big and clean, there was AC in every room. The bathrooms were fresh and there was strong water pressure. Every morning delicious breakfast with omelettes, bread, jam and fresh fruit was served outside. The owner Sisira was incredibly attentive and made sure that all our wishes were met. He arranged transports anywhere, planned different exercursions, and planned meals according to our wishes without any hassles. We recommend Lohas Beach villa for an amazing vacation in Sri Lanka. We would love to come back in the future!

Wonderful
This unique property accepts only one booking at a time so it becomes your private home with staff. It is a five bedroom villa on the sea with dining room, living room, and a therapy room with massage table and treatments on call.
We enjoyed lounging on the verandah overlooking lush gardens and colorful birds. Beyond is an outdoor dining area next to the swimming pool, and beyond that a privacy fence to the beach. The architecture is traditional but the interior is fully renovated with modern baths. The villa is located in a good Sri Lankan neighborhood and we liked hearing the chanting coming from the nearby Buddhist temple, and the music of the bread truck making its rounds. We especially liked the feeling of solitude and attentive service from the excellent host who checked in with us every day and did everything to make us happy. Stanley, the all purpose and efficient houseman, was always at our call. We felt cared for like private house guests.
I realize now that this is an opportunity to immerse in the life of Sri Lanka and not expect an international menu. The western food can be mediocre, but the Sri Lankan dishes always delicious. However, we did ask for western breakafasts and the eggs where good.

The breakfast was wonderful, served fresh everyday by Stanley at what ever time we wanted it.
Omelette of my choice and Sri Lankan sausages followed by toast and marmalade. This was followed by a fresh fruit salad prepared by Stanley or Sisi ( Sisi is the owner). All served with a pot or two of Ceylon tea.
Nothing was to much trouble for these two wonderful guys.
Loved it all.
The two lads Stanley and Sisi were just wonderful, the food was great and very tasty.
The hotel was lovely and clean.
You could not fault our holiday at all.
I am disabled and Sisi came on all our trips with us to take care of me, a wonderful man.

Very cozy and quiet place. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful garden. Literally less than a minute walk to the beach. Would definitely come again and recommend for a quiet relaxing holiday
There are no windows in any room. Even the “balcony” is just another tiny room with concrete walls. There’s a bit of daylight coming trough the gap in the top part of the window/balcony so it’s not dark in the room. The rest is covered with concrete. This is 100% compensated with the common areas. It simply doesn’t make sense to stay in the room. Also the internet is only good in common areas
