Wonderful
When I arrived I got upgraded to a very nice room so that was awesome! They have a little restaurant-type hut on the beach where they serve food if you order early enough. The rice & curry is very good and good size, too. And there's even an included breakfast! I recommend the pancakes. All in all it was a perfect place to relax for a couple of days.
The place is really far (3 km) from everything else, so no shops or alternative restaurants. Not a problem, just something you should be aware of.
When I got my bill I found that they had added a 10% service tax. While this is unfortunately a widespread practice in Sri Lanka's more upscale places for food items, it's definitely not something to be added on room prices. They did correct it when I asked. A day later, another couple staying there had the same issue.
All in all it was a wonderful deal with the room I got and I loved the people there, so the place is definitely recommended. If it wasn't for the service tax thing, it would have been a 10 / 10.

It is located at the beach, each room has a balcony to chill. It is family owned and everyone were very helpful, they even gave us a ride to Puttalam.

Great location and view if a little remote. Certainly rustic. Friendly and helpful staff.
Didn't realise wind turbines were quite so noisy.! Pack of dogs fighting and howling during the night. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes as you can really seal the room. However it was cheap and served a purpose.
