A wonderful resort with excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, ping pong table, and soccer goals, making it perfect for families with children. The kitesurfing spot is just a short walk away, which is a big plus for water sports lovers.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped, providing a very comfortable stay. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
We truly enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back!

The staff were really helpful. The location was fantastic, well located, private access to beach, the view from the room was fabulous.
The food was really bad. The breakfast was below average with a limited spread. The coffee on the buffet was not nice. We ordered dinner at the restaurant on the first night which was positively amongst the worst meals we have had. We did not eat at the hotel after that.

Great location and property. Really nice staff, every one of them. True, yummy Sri Lankan breakfast! Well designed, great vibe and lighting.
The chalets due to the outdoor setting even though air conditioned, you may encounter some insects/ creatures (weren’t intrusive).

The staff was the absolute highlight of my stay in Blue Whale. Special thanks to Sumith. Thank you for addressing all of my needs! As a solo traveler I felt so comfortable and looked after in Blue Whale. Would definitely recommend to stay in this place!
There were so many flies in openair areas! It’s not the properties fault, there were annoying flies all over peninsula. But have that in mind when booking.

Nice swimming pool and garden with easy access to the beach were you can walk and do kitesurfing
The stuff and manager are welcoming you and gives a family feeling , assist in any request . Good is very good and tasty

Nice hotel, clean and well located with friendly staff and good pricing . Kite surfing available right at the beach. Pizza from their own oven is excellent.
Location is a bit off. Place needs urgent maintenance, towels are so thin you can look through. Beach is dirty as hell but thats not the hotel's issue I think, but be aware.

Spacious rooms with large windows, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Water pressure was a little low, maybe this was temporary. Wifi not very stable, and much light coming in the room because of white curtains (this is not a complaint but just to know)
