Exactly what we wanted for our trip! A 5 minute walk from the beach and the main street, with plenty of closer restaurants, too. Brilliant to have the swimming pool to cool down in and a lovely outdoor sitting space for the evenings. There was lots we appreciated about the facilities, too, including AC in the bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom big enough for an additional cot, and having ensuites in every room. The owner was also very friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to communicate with and help us during the nation-wide power cuts. Great value for money!
A couple of little details could be improved - no AC in the lounge (better to sit outside in the evening) and thin curtains in the bedrooms (an eye mask was useful for sleeping in!).

Really nice and clean stay in Hikkaduwa. We really enjoyed our time there. The apartment is really big and everything was really clean. Really nice bathrooms. The facilities in the kitchen are not as good. I would’ve been really hard to actually cook something. But all the rest was perfect.
There were missing a few kitchen facilities. Otherwise nothing!

Property is very well maintained. The bathrooms and rooms were thouglhly cleaned and most of the stuff appeared as new.
Nice sitting area outside.
Location is very close to Hikkadua bus stand with few shops and restuarants near by.
Host Sanjeewa was very softspoken and helpful.
Pool is bit small and lacks privacy.
Owner stays behind the property and entry and access to move in and out to the property and his house is same. It also passes through the swimming pool. Host tried their best to limit the access only when necessary.
Kitchen is small. Limited space for cleaning and washing. Limited utensils for the use.

Good location, 5 min to the beach, 5 min to the turtle’s beach on tuktuk, a lot restaurants and cafés around, big house and nice host))
Once a huge cockroach came to us! But it’s normal for Indian nature, just throw out the waste on time!
