Breakfast and Wolly. Also the locals working there are the most sweetest individuals and very helpful.
The location- way inside from the main road. difficult to find the property.
AC - no AC in the room. Fan is there but not sufficient given the hot weather. An air cooler is preferable
No windows- the outside noise is very loud given no windows and the net covering the room is dirty thereby disrupting the view.
Peacocks n other animals are too loud and disturbing.
WIFI was weak and most of the times didnt connect.
No shataf in the toilet. Bathroom is open concept.

A hidden gem, indeed. We really appreciate Anitha’s hospitality and all of the things this place offers. We had a great time. It’s difficult to leave “a home”. Everything’s delicious. The host always have good tips for local stuff. Will come back to this gem.
It takes us a while to adapt the hot summer nights while sleeping. But I love the idea of sustainable living.

The staff went above and beyond. The food is amazing - they pride themselves on the brunch and it was a full spread, community vibe, and it was the most memorable meal I had in Sri Lanka. The staff are so lovely and accommodating, giving me recommendations far beyond my stay. The room was massive and so nice

Amazing minimalistic interior design, wonderful people, very generous breakfast. Wonderful private place for romantic getaway. Just three rooms, so there is a lot of space very close to nature.
A little bit complicated to sleep without earplugs (which are provided), as the birds are singing very loud and there are no windows in the room, just mosquito nets.

There is a lot of animal noise. I didn’t think it was a problem, but it can be if you are a light sleeper.
Also, I thought the dinner, which you can decide to eat at the villa, was overpriced.

The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

Just beautiful building I was in love with!
But unfortunately not suitable for me at all(
I couldn’t sleep at all because of loud sounds of the jungle around.
In the room you have only grid on the windows, no glass and almost no walls)
I didn’t notice, so partly is my fault of course.
I spent only one night there and moved to another place in Gale.
Outside area and swimming pool is really beautiful, but the room definitely need some renovation.

breakfast was very nice and flexible. They actually moved the time to make sure that we were also having breakfast. Also, they helped us a lot.
I think I loved the place, to be frank, it is so hard to say what you did not like, it is more about the price It was maybe a bit too expensive for Srilanka in general, but in short, they were fantastic host, and they had a beautiful swimming pool and only noisy thing was a beautiful peacock who is literally resident of the area and is awake as soon as the day is on.

A beautiful villa decorated in a modern and minimalist style, but very fitting to the surroundings. The room was big and comfortable. Additionally, the staff was very open and friendly. I felt comfortable there.

Short drive from restaurants in fort Galle, surrounded by nature. This property was originally built as a family home and it has not lost that essence. Anne, the host made the experience so personal and welcoming. ?️?
The breakfast was the best we had on our entire Sri Lankan trip. Prepared in house by a qualified Ayurvedic doctor. Delicious, healthy, organic and local produce.
The property is so unique, if you are into architecture, this one is a must!

This is an exceptional place to stay - we could not recommend it more highly. Beautiful jungle location teaming with birds and wildlife, gorgeous tasteful rooms, convenient location near Galle Fort and all the nearby beaches. Best of all were the staff. Anitha ran the most seamless operation and is a world class masseuse - make sure to try one of her treatments. Hashani’s food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka by far. Perera went out of his way to make us feel welcome and keep the place spotless.

Staff are amazing, very friendly and provide lots of useful advice for your first time in Sri Lanka.
Rooms are very beautiful and comfortable, regulating the heat really well without the need for AC.
Love the family style breakfast and dinner. Delicious food, with a mix of western and Sri Lankan elements.
Highly recommend some of the Ayurveda massage treatments performed by Anitha. Amazing value and you feel incredible after! Thank you
Location is a little awkward, in that it’s off from the main tourist spots, so a lot of tuk tuk drivers have some difficulty locating it. That said, hotel can assist with getting you a tuk tuk or driver.
Pool is very nice, but in need of a little TLC as do some other areas of the property, which at the price point you’d expect to be looked at.

Gorgeous place with the best hosts. They were helpful and friendly at all times. Such delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Short journey to Galle fort so you’re not in the main tourist area which is great. Lots of animals to see on the property!
