It was OK for the price. There was air conditioning.
There was a shaded window door opening to a balcony. But this balcony is on the main road, which is very busy and noisy with traffic. The staff's English is not acceptable. They need to improve their English communication skills.

Amazing value for money right next to the cafes and restaurants in Unawatuna. Host is great and has his own cafe downstairs. Brand new A/C units so the rooms are nice and cool overnight. Amazing private terrace was an added bonus.
Only thing is that the road is opposite which means it can be noisy but it didn’t bother us.

Centrally located, comfy bed. Warm water. AC. Mini fridge.
Mosquito net had some holes but was fixed by staff with tape. Since the main room was air conditioned, the toilet felt like a sauna during daytime.

Great stay! Good value for money - very comfortable. Location was convenient to get around the area, maybe not super close to the beach, but right next to bus stops and the main beach road which gets you in approx. 10min to the main beach!

Had a great 2 night stay here, would highly recommend! The room was excellent and brilliant value for money - it's so much bigger than a lot of other rooms we've stayed in Sri Lanka for a similar price and the facilities were great and very clean. Location is also good, you're a 5 min walk from the beach and cafes, restaurants, shops and bars are on your doorstep. Wifi was good and the owner/staff were also attentive and welcoming.
Can't fault anything.
