The location in the fort is great, the bar on the roof top is great! And has amazing views of the sunset- worth a visit.
But the hotel is right beside a school ! They play music really load and early! Use the ear plugs provided

The location is great, just opposite the fort. The room was of a good size with a kettle, tea and coffee for the guests. The bathroom was very nicely done with shampoo and body wash available. The sunset can be watched from the rooftop terrace. The owner and staff were very friendly.

This was honestly the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka, the room was perfect- bed was so comfortable, nice blankets and pillows, great AC, and really nice modern shower. Every little detail was thought of and taken care of! The hosts were also fantastic, helping us out with recommendations around town. This is the place to stay in Galle, amazing location right near the water and in the old historical fort - there are tons of restaurants and shops around. Plus you can watch sunset right from the rooftop lounge! 10/10 Hope to come back and stay here again soon!

I've stayed at three properties in Galle and the Seagreen Guest House was by far the best. The room was clean and fresh with plenty of room to move around, do yoga, or whatever. There's a nice rooftop terrace too, that looks out onto the sea and sunset. Very friendly staff.
There's a school next door that blasts music in the mornings. The hotel provides ear plugs and that solves the problem. The shower water pressure could be better.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spotless. WE liked that the rooms had fans , so we did not need the ACs blowing on us all night. ( there was and AC as well). Great location with views of the ocean from the rooftop bar. The food was excellent as well. 10 minute walk to station. They arranged transport and drivers too if needed. All in all very good value for money. We will recommend to friends ( already have) and we would stay again if we went back to Galle,

Great location right onto the green by Galle fort and so close to the shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely to have AC in the room and the room was very comfy. The WiFi was also really good which was useful as our phones didn’t get data in Sri Lanka.
You can hear the hustle and bustle / noise from outside but we still slept good.
The window shades didn’t work very well and let a lot of light in, but again I had an eye mask which solved the issue

Great guesthouse in Galle right by the fort wall and near the Galle Green. Spacious room and bathroom with aircon and ceiling fan. Beautiful rooftop terrace and another quiet little corner on level one to relax. I felt very welcomed by staff and enjoyed my stay which was only for one night. Unfortunately the kitchen closed early so I didn’t get to have dinner. I also left before breakfast but they have both available. They also offer transfers and tours with information readily available in a little information pack in the room. Centrally located but not in the midst of tourists. You can pay by cash or card.
My bedsheet had a medium sized hole in it which surprised me as everything else was so thoughtful and well looked after with nice toiletries in the bathroom, drying rack and two towels (though no hairdryer). There’s coffee / tea making facilities and a bottle of water in the room. Lovely place - highly recommended.

The rooms smelled yummy like cinnamon!!!! A great location within the Fort. Very happy we stayed here 2 nights. Nice people. We watched the sunset with cocktails in the rooftop bar - super!
The bathroom had some quirks and could use some maintenance, but it was A-OK really for price.
