The host was really helpful providing information on many things such as the cheap and clean places to have dinner , the places to visit and so on.
The apartment is only about two kilometers from the Dutch fortress and you can use a pickme tuktuk if you like and the fare is much more cheaper than other local tuktuks.
The breakfast was really tasty and we enjoyed it .
Hopefully visit the place again in future .

This was my second stay at the apartment, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The place is spotless, comfortable, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The host is an exceptionally kind and helpful person who truly makes you feel at home. It’s excellent value for money, and I would definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

The owner of the Appartment was very helpful and kind. To begin with, he helped me and guided me to the location with respect to the TUK and fare for the ride. He also suggested good eateries in Galle, along with places to visit.
Breakfast also was very good, also helped in looking for a bike for rent.
Most importantly, I was ill on my third day , due to some food poisoning by eating out, the host helped me in all way possible with respect to arranging the doctor next door, and food during for the remainder of my stay.
Also the guest house has a small kitchen, rooms are clean, also a common washing machine. AC also in good working condition.
Overall a good stay in the appartment, also price is worth the stay.

The apartment had everything we needed, was private and the shower etc. was good. Breakfast was very good. The location was great too - only a short walk (25 mins) from the fort and we never struggled with tuktuks to and from (either on PickMe or asking the Tuktuk drivers themselves).
We could’ve asked for another blanket as the aircon was so powerful (which you need in galle!)

This place is a gem! Two couples could be comfortable. Kitchen living room. Balcony. Convenient location. The host was phenomenal. He had so many tips and good information for us

Great stay and an easy recommendation to make. The apartment was spacious, clean, and welcoming. The host was incredible kind, knowledgeable, and was able to offer some great advice on the surrounding area.
The location is a bit out the way (25 mins to bus/ train station and fort) but is only 10 mins away from a large supermarket and is very close to the sea which offers a stunning sun-set walk-in the evenings.
Location could be more central but it’s quite decent anyhow.

Clean and spacious apartment. Air conditioning was very good. Good location in a residential area. It’s a bit away from Galle fort but can be easily accessed (2 km walk or short ride by tuk tuk). The host Mr Renuka was very kind to offer a Sri Lankan breakfast and was very helpful in providing advise and arranging of transportation. Overall, a pleasant experience.

If you are looking for a budget accommodation near Galle Fort, this is a good pick. The host is extremely welcoming and helpful. The apartment is basic, but clean. Wifi was good and AC worked like a dream. Here you have everything you need. It's a residential area and a good neighborhood, so you can feel safe.
Limited space to unpack your luggage. We didn't want to keep suitcases open on the floor, as there were tiny ants.
Tips for future guests:
-It can be a hassle to return to the accommodation from the Fort on tuktuk. Local drivers charge at least triple compared to PickMe.
-Beaches near (Jungle beach, Dewata) are not in good condition, I would not recommend visiting them. Beach in Thalpe is good ??

Huge room with balkony! Small fridge to cool some groceries. Possible to do your laundry for a reasonable price. 15 minutes walk to Galle fort, only place in Sri Lanka where we could actually comfortably walk on a sidewalk.

I had a wonderful stay at Princely House Apartments. The apartment is small but cozy, with a comfortable one-bedroom setup, and it’s conveniently located not too far from Galle's main attractions. It's truly great value for money. Renuka, the owner, was an exceptional host. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and was always available with helpful information about the area. I highly recommend staying here!

The apartment was very clean and our host was extremely welcoming. The airconditioning worked exceptionally and the apartment is well suited for short and long stays equipped with a kitchen, bathroom , dining room and breakfast is included. It is spacious and the owner is very friendly and helpful with all kinds of tourists’ needs. The air conditioning kept us comfortable and the washing machine let us get caught up with laundry.
There aren’t any restaurants in the neighborhood, just a friendly roti place with good food.
