Beautiful property, comfortable room, very good shower, and the most warm welcome from Bibi (I am not sure i wrote the name right). Also perfect location, quite near the center but still calm area, we really enjoyed watching different types of birds coming to the trees around the balcony. Amazing place, we are for sure coming back!

Very nice place. The owner goes out of his way to make the stay as comfortable as possible for his guests. There really was nothing to complain about!

It has a good location for the price. We had the balcony room and I loved the view and the birds chirping every morning. The owner is a very kind and helpful man. We would definitely come back!

- Affordable place in Galle.
- The room is spacious and seperate from the main house so feels private and not damp.
- The owner let us use his kitchen and even helped us with dishes when we were rushing to leave.
- We were allowed to keep our things there during the day.
- No water on arrival.
- We checked in on the 2nd night (of a 2 night booking, as we stayed elsewhere) and the room wasn’t ready when we checked in, we had to wait like 15 mins.
- No curtains, and the window looks out onto the road, so at night when you have the light on we had to hang up our clothes to cover the window so we had some privacy.
- There are also holes in the windows & ventilation holes in the walls with no mesh - so bugs came straight in. We slept so poorly for this reason, even with the mosquito net we were bitten and woke up itching constantly throughout the night - not completely the owners fault but closing the gaps / holes in the window would help prevent that.
- We asked for bed sheets and he said he would bring them but never did - thankfully we had our own sleeping liners so we didn’t mention it.
- The room is large, but too large for the ceiling fan - so it is still hot when you sleep.
- No hot water for shower

Very friendly owner, who made us coffee in the morning. Nice location in a very quiet living area aprox 30min by walk & 10min drive to Galle Fort.
It could be a bit cleaner, the bedsheets didn't smell so fresh and there were stains. We would appreciate a mosquito net.

The gueshouse is located in a quiet area 20 minutes from the railway station and 30 minutes from the fort.
The room was clean, big enough, very quiet, and the owner allowed us to use his kitchen.
We had soap, toilet paper, towels.
Near guesthouse, you can find a Keels supermarket.
For some, the location can be an issue if you don't want to walk or take a tuk tuk.

The host, Mr Mangala and family members were very kind and hospitable. They shared their local home cook food and personally prepare tea and coffee for me which warm my heart. Also, they provided me with helpful travel information.like how to take the best public transport to reach my destination.
The bed was very comfortable. This house has the charm. It has an edible garden with many fruit trees.
I can say that indeed I had stayed in the paradise for two nights at Galle. True to its name, Paradise Galle.

I had the best stay in this house ! ? The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. Also, the uncle who manages the house is really kind and helpful, he gave me nice recommendations for places where they have local food. Last but not least, they have the sweetest dog, Cathy ?
I highly recommend you staying at this beautiful and quiet house while you're in Galle. It's only a 20min walk to the Fort from there and if you don't like to walk you can just grab a tuktuk for a cheap price.
