Location is perfect, beachfront and sleeping close to the ocean is 10/10. Next to this hostel is nice bar with drinks and delicious food. You can find a pharmacy, groceries or whatever u want near the hostel.
As I can call this place - true Asian vibe
The rats are everywhere literally. If you are about to stay here for 1-2 days it could be fine and maybe you will be lucky and avoid them. Shower is a wood box without hot water and with our friends - rats ofc. When I was staying at this spot owners were doing renovations. So place was fully dusted, loud and a bit messy. The kitchen was unavailable (because of renovation as I got it). Maybe now is nice

Very Cheap. Friendly hosts, possible to order food at the place. Facilities very basic, but completely enough given the price.
It was pretty windy and stormy during the night which made it loud and not perfectly comfortable to sleep in the.

We absolutely loved our little pink cabin on the beach! It was a different way to spend the night, listening to the waves on the shore.
The cabin was small but had all the essentials, the bed was quite comfy and there was light and electricity inside. There was also a net to protect you from any insects. The bathroom is shared but was clean and well organised.
In the morning we had breakfast with banana pancakes on the beach. Great value for money. Should we come back to Sri Lanka, we will spend another night here!
We couldn't sleep much because there was loud music at the bar nearby until 1am, and then the noise of the ocean was quite loud too!

The location is just on the beach and the restaurant is very good with reasonable prices. Staff were pretty nice
While the location is amazing it is pretty far from the city (12min drive). During our stay we had a power cut that lasted a few hours

Upstairs rooms had a fan but the room was still way too hot. We struggled to sleep even with doors wide open on balcony.

A great accommodation - perfect location right on the beach, bus stop was very close. The cabins were a good fit and common area was clean, good for a chill. There was a shared book library!
The wifi signal was very poor. The shared bathroom could be cleaner (there is only one for all cabins). Own food is forbidden.

Close to the beach
Partying with speakers till late night with lot of noise.
Can't bring take away inside. Food provided by host is expensive compared to location and standard of property.
