Very beautiful Hostel ! A unique old style antique property with Beautiful huge diverse garden. Facilities were up to the high quality standard and those are comfortable. Owner was super friendly guy and he was very hospitable. Food and drinks were very yummy. Very close to the touristic places around Galle and to the city center. Tuk tuk and buses can find very easily in here and all the other necessary facilities are nearby. I'm extremely enjoyed my stay at this hostel. 100% recommend.

Fabulous place in the heart of Galle! Super clean hostel, this is one of the most clean hostels l've ever stayed. Nice dorm with comfortable bed, very clean linen, WiFi works well and good AC. Host was nice welcoming and offered me a very tasty homemade welcome drink. And he gave me valuable suggestions to explore Galle. I had a very relax feeling in this place which I couldn't get any other hostel so far. I was so happy to stay in this place. 100% recommend.

So far, this has been the nicest Hostel I have stayed at! The hostel was gorgeous, the garden was beautiful, and everything was perfectly maintained and taken care of. Host took great care of us. He gave us a tour of the property, served us very delicious breakfast, and was alwavs giving us useful information to help us out on our journey.

Very nice hostel and friendly host. When you arrive he will offer you fresh coconut juice from their garden.
Breakfast is awesome and all the spices, vegetables and fruits are collected from their own garden. So they are very fresh. So the breakfast and dinner here is worth a try. Room and the bathroom are very clean. Garden is very large and good for relaxation. We would like to stay in Old parkland hostel again when we back in Galle. Highly recommend.

The overall property is beautiful, it’s a heritage home. Really well maintained. The dorm was pretty clean and cozy, special callout for the host - Pinidu. Really welcoming, greeted me with a refreshing drink and helped me with travel suggestions as well.

This is the perfect hostel for peaceful & relaxing stay with unique structure & a huge garden in backyard . The owner Pinidu is very friendly & helpful person, as he helped me a lot to explore nearby places, along with that their Homemade sri lankan dinner and breakfast were awesome.I would not hesitate to come back again and I recommend other travelers to try this place out.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at so far. Pinidu is an amazing host who always makes sure you have an amazing stay. He also makes an amazing breakfast! His garden is beautiful, and the location is close to all the things in Galle. Overal, I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Amazing place, with a huge garden. The owner will guide you through the different spices and fruits that are in this garden. Also, he is happy to help you with suggestions about sightseeing and transport!
Come here if you like calm, but still enjoy a nice conversation at the end of your day.

I stayed at Pinidu's hostel for a total of 4 nights. It is easily among the best hostel experiences I have ever had (having stayed at more than 40 in the past few years...). The room/bed/bathroom is spotless. The hosts are extremely attentive to detail- gave me tour of the garden and recommendations about where to visit.
Above all, I must say that Pinidu is an exceptional human being. After I left the hostel, I had a medical emergency and contacted him for advice. He exchanged with people he knew and sent a friend to the hospital to personally make an appointment for me as I returned to the city. I stayed again at his place for two more nights while I did more tests, during which he was extremely supportive and sought to help me be comfortable.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Especially for people who like a calm environment in nature. Peace from Canada <3

The garden is incredible. It feels like you are in the jungle but you are actually 3-5 minutes tuc tuc (0.6€) away from the beach and Galle fort. If I am back in the city this will be my hostal again.
