Excellent beach action and eateries close to the property. Hot water and access to a communal kitchen facility. On the tuk tuk and bus route and live music also available nearby
Poor internet signal and road noise starts early.

The room was clean and nice. The receptionist was super nice.
One of the worst nights of my life. The location seems like you re at a beach, but truthfully you are just 10m from the main road. Tuktuks, buses and truck drive around whole night and because there is no isolation on the windows it feels like sleeping on a highway. The bed was another part of the issue. I have never slept on such uncomfortable bed. Felt like army bed. The matrace was like 5 cm thick and the bed was making terrible noise each time you moved the finger. So if your second half was lucky enough to fall asleep on the highway, the bed finished the job and woke her up.

The balcony view was amazing. Crashing sounds of the waves was therapeutic. Pavan was so helpful, despite the heavy rainfall he managed to get us milk tea.
Location was great. Lala s place Restaurant is very close to the property which is a gem for good food. Must visit.
The rooms lighting should be increased. Thicker white towels should be given. Wouldve preferred if the bathroom's tiling and fittings were abit better. The property's location is great, so they should invest in redecoration and that would be a game changer.

The location of this lodge is simply breathtaking. You have the sea directly at your doorstep. The lodge has a very nice and relaxing atmosphere about it. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a number of smaller and larger restaurants and bars adjacent to the lodge on the beach, so you have plenty of choice for yours meals and drinks. Parking is available on site and the Galle fort is at a 10 minutes drive down the main road. A couple of nights at this place will fully recharge your batteries.
The rooms come equipped with very luxurious, technically advanced shower systems that are somewhat impossible to operate :-) But you will not care, because you will likely take your shower in the garden under the afternoon sun anyway.

It's a beach house and not a hotel .. you pay for what you get ... it's not 5 star but it's excellant value for money 7km outside of Galle ... but on main road with lots of very cheap buses to Galle and Hikkuduwa ... lots of restaurants on the beach outside ... would definitely stay there again

Amazing location, right on the beach. I loved sitting on the patio in front of my room to relax and cool down. The beach is very quiet, yet there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. A perfect place to unwind!
The room itself is spacious and very clean!
The mattress was quite thin, which could be more comfortable. More shaded areas on the beach would have been great and would likely attract more business for local vendors.

The location is great, beach front near restaurants and nice area.
The room we booked was a "deluxe room with sea view and balcony", however, a big tree covered most of the sea views (the staff said they will cut it soon, so maybe it will be ok later).
There were a lot of problems with the hot water in the shower, sometimes it works fine but sometimes there wasn't hot water.
The shower floor was broken and the water was leaking all over the shower room, the staff just said: "yes we need to fix it"?.

Great deal for the price! Located right on the beach with the access to many cafes and restaurants. Room was really big and comfortable. If treated with a little more care it would be simply amazing! The host was very nice and friendly. We would gladly extend our stay if we could.

Our host - Pawan was affectionate and made sure our stay becomes a wonderful one. For illustration, there were no slip-ups from Pawan's end. In fact, when we got late one evening from dinner, he waited for us and was concerned too. The breathtaking beach view and the stormy sea were the icing on the cake. Our rooms were chic, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and Pawan always was around the corner and offered prompt help when needed. The beach was the highlight of our trip.
There is absolutely NOTHING, we disliked about this property. Impeccable hospitality, seamless check in process and the stunning views. We are in complete awe of this property and wish to revisit ASAP. This is unimpeachable.
