The vibe of Bara Beach is amazing. The staff if friendly, food is excellent, and the beach is beautiful.

This is my experience from one of their Cabanas. I cannot speak to how these issues were experienced in the other shared accommodations. FYI, the hostel has a massive speaker, and all the cabanas are right in front of the bar and have openings all across the bottom of the roof. The place is just as it appears in the pictures, offering a super chill ambience, a perfect spot to unwind and relax, with nice food and great vibes. Living up to the "Home" bit of the name. However, when night comes, it's uncertain whether it will stay that way or suddenly transform into a party hostel My first night, I kept being woken up until 1 am by a local's party taking place at the hostel (you could tell by the music they were playing). These people were blasting the music right into the cabanas, with such a level I could even feel the vibration of the beats on my feet and legs. At 1am I got tired of it and went to complain, just for this friend of the bar, who was super drunk, to completly dismiss my request and cranck the music back up as soon as I turned my back. Workers were also present and did nothing. It was not until three more rooms complained that they stopped the party. That day, I sent a complaint to the owner and requested a free cancellation, but didn't get an answer all day. I decided to give the place another chance, but lo and behold, another party took place that night. This time, from some Germans who were staying there and thought it fitting to throw a rave. This time, they placed the speakers further away, making it more bearable. However, drunk people keep coming and going into the cabanas, blasting doors, screaming, fighting, locking each other out and stuff. I was woken up multiple times until 5am. Needless to say, I left after that, my sleep completely ruined. While not all of this is directly the owner's fault, it is clear that lack clear noise regulations.

The ambiance, the food, staff, the view, and the isolation that comes with the beach home. It's a great place to just go on a digital detox.

Very quiet property with the happy environment. Nice and clean location.

Stayed in the apartment on the beach. Beautiful little place and quiet. Easy to get a tuk tuk everywhere. Not many restaurants near by but the hotel has one. Great food and friendly staff. The shower sprayed out some which was a little annoying but overall wonderful stay. Great WiFi and ac too

Incredible view and very relaxing location. The staff were SO friendly and chatty with us- Rima was great! We celebrated their New years with them so it was great seeing their traditions and having the DJs there.

It was okay for the night, it's a beachfront, which was very nice.

Fantastic hosts and location. We had a dreamy little cabin on a paradise beach. There was not air conditioning ( just a fan) and a share clean bathroom. It was a bit rustic but it was really fun for my daughter and for the price, it is really worth it if you dream about having a little room right on the beach. The food is great too! I also like the fact that there are trying to keep their beach cleaned and give incentives to their guests to keep the beach cleaned! well done!

Loved our stay here. Cute beach huts on the beach, great outdoor area with heaps of seating. the standout is the food and drinks. The food was absolutely amazing don’t have to worry about going to different restaurants we ate here every night and it is very cheap. 10/10 would stay and come back

Property was lovely perfect and rustic, lots of sun beds and bean bags and hammocks to chill in.

It’s right on the beach. We stayed in the cabanas about 5mins walk from the main bar restaurant and hostel which we liked we had our own veranda and beach area which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked

We had the holiday home and it was a spacious room with a big bed. Staff were really nice and attentive and it is located away from the busy city which is nice. It is also right on the beach so we could watch the sunset and listen to the waves from our balcony.
