Wow - this place was amazing! It’s truly one of a kind homestay in a great location, with excellent rooms and facilities. This being said, the best part about my stay were the incredible owners. The wife and husband team were always available, always checking in on you and offered all the help that you needed. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts. I would 100% recommend this stay if you’re planning to visit Galle for a short time, or, they have options to extend your stay too! Thank you so much for a wonderful introduction to Sri Lanka - you’ve proved that Sri Lanka is a wonderful country?

This property is run by Anusha and her husband, a friendly, generous and lovely couple who genuinely welcome and treat you like their family. The accommodation is very clean, spacious, with all comforts and surrounded by lush vegetation, yet you are moments away from busy and nice local beach and restaurants. The experience was so positive that I extended my stay multiple times with no hesitation, and I will definitely go back!

Amazing place to stay at if you are looking for a clean and comfortable room with super friendly hosts. Room was spotless and I was able to leave my bags after checkout. Great value for money! Definitely book this homestay when you go to Galle

excellent place, if you are looking for a clean and comfortable room with no frills and a super friendly host, this is the place for you. The room and bathroom are small, but super clean, quiet, and comfy. The host tries all possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Value for money!

We had a really great time in Anusha‘s Apartment! The couple who owns the place is very nice and helpful, there’s a little kitchen nook (no stove) to prepare breakfast or snacks, and down the road are many super authentic and affordable restaurants. We‘d come back any time we’re visiting Galle again!

Anusha and her husband are very warm and welcoming. She let me check in early and was very helpful. The apartment is in a lovely garden setting. Quiet location with a small shop round the corner and the main coastal road with supermarkets etc 10 min walk away. 30 min walk to the fort or 10 mins by tuk tuk. She also very kindly did my washing and hung it out to dry. Good wifi too. Recommended!

The owner was kind and helpful beyond the call of duty. She even gave me an ointment she had purchased in Australia (when I hurt my knee).
The room was much bigger than I expected with ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable.
It is the best stay I've had in my life at a room I've rented for a few days.
This was heaven compared t the room I rented last year (I go to the City of Galle in the South for a Literary Festival every year). That, too, was via Booking.com. The woman who ran that place was like a virago and the room was pathetic. Just horrible.
No complaints. Everything was excellent.

I had a fantastic stay at Anusha’s place! The room was great, well-equipped, and clean, making it a very comfortable stay. The location is in a peaceful and quiet area, perfect for relaxing after exploring Galle.
But what truly made this experience special was Anusha herself—she is wonderful, funny, super reactive, and incredibly helpful! Her energy and kindness make you feel at home right away. She genuinely cares about her guests, ensuring everything is perfect.
If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming stay in Galle, this is the perfect place. I will definitely come back if I visit Sri Lanka again!

I had a whole little house of two rooms and a kitchen (fridge, gas stove) complete with a lovely porch and a small garden around. The rooms and the garden were clean and tidy.
Anusha, the hostess, was extremely responsive to my needs, and all my questions/messages were answered very fast. She really goes out of her way to help you and feel good.
The property is located between Fort Galle and Unawatuna, and each one is reachable by tuk-tuk (10 min + 300 rupees).
There is no cafe or a restaurant near by, so in the morning I had to make breakfast for myself, which is great once, but not every day. Adding a breakfast option would be wonderful.
Also, early (~5:00 AM) in the morning some religious signing coming from a temple or a monastery, or a mosque was heard, and that disturbed my morning sleep.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 or 6 weeks and couldn't have chosen better for that time!
The apartment was super clean, the area feels very safe. Beds are comfortable + have a mosquito net and the apartment kitchen is well equipped. There is no AC but multiple fans.
The apartment also has a very idyllic atmosphere between the tops of the palm trees, from where you can see monkeys swinging from tree to tree at sunset.
Just a 10min walk to Dewata Beach (restaurants, beach bars, surf schools) and Sambodhi bus stop, from where it's very easy and fast to get to Galle or Unawatuna.
There is a little shop just 50 meters away with all necessities available at fair local prices.
Especially lovely was the host Pradeep, who was very kind, open and welcoming and always up for a quick chat. He shared bananas from the garden and when I injured my hand he surprised me with dinner. Recommend 100%!
*one note: During the religious holidays it can get quite loud, since there is a Buddhist temple right across the street and a mosque not too far away, so you can hear the Muezzin. But I thought that just added to the experience of Sri Lanka culture.

A very clean and comfortable place to stay. In a lovely peaceful location full of nature. The owner takes great care of the place and he's very helpful and kind. Good location for transport, bus stop is only a short walk to and railway station is further on, but still within walking distance. A good place to relax, unwind and to return to.
