Exceptional
As you enter the hotel, you feel like entering a jungle. Its like a retreat done to an eco friendly architectural design. The place is serene with privacy and freedom. Hospitality was next level. The family who runs the property are true advocates of Sri Lankan hospitality. They always tried to serve more than what we expected. Food was the best. Authentic cooking with locally sourced best ingredients. Flavour to colour to aroma to presentation to everything were just perfect.
Nothing to complain. It was fully worth the price and truly an unforgettable stay.

One word, excellent!
We stayed here for two nights, the rooms were very comfortable, spacious and had a pleasant atmosphere inside and outside as well. Washrooms were well cleaned, maintained and hygienic. The host was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay worthwhile. The food was also yummy. Best thing was the actual environment and the rooms were exactly the same as what is shown here. One thing that bothered us were the mosquitoes, but it is quite expectable in a woody location like this.

I dont like it at all
they dont care about the customers. I booked this place 2 months ago, but they didnt know they have a reservation on that day either. we were waiting 45 minutes outside while they prepare a place for us. there are no water bottles and towels, there was no good hospitality. I dont recommend this to anyone.

Rohan and his family were amazing! Hands on with inviting guests into the accommodation, happy to help at every case. As staying in a jungle, we did have the opportunity to get very close to nature (coming from London, takes a surprise) but once settled, had a lovely stay. Thanks Rohan for your hospitality!

Location is good. Very helpful and friendly host. Delicious local breakfast. I like the open bathroom the most - cold shower in the nature, surrounded by animal sounds.
Be prepared for bugs and lizards in the room. No AC, just cooler - that can be problem because nights are very hot.

Very helpful and friendly host. His wife prepared so delicious local breakfasts and dinners. They even helped me to arrange the trip to Pidurangala Rock.
Vihanga Village is very unusual accommodation in the middle of the nature, so you should be ready to meet some insects, spiders or even snakes.

The staff are super friendly, always out of their way to accommodate your needs
It is in the tree-dense area which is normal to have insects and animals but have to improve on cleaning the furnitures and toilet seat which Is full of black molds.
