The staff was really, really nice. Helped us with the booking of a jeep to go on a safari and arranged the tuctuc for us to climb Lions rock. The hotel was clean and the garden was super nice. Good coffee too! Can really recommend. And nice curry for dinner as well. Really nothing to complain,

After 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, this was definitely the best place we stayed. I would loved to have stayed longer and relax. Instantly, you feel a calming and welcoming feeling. The hotel is setup away from the hustle and bustle, tucked on a tiny street, so you'll sleep very well. The rooms a very comfortable and extremely clean. The staff are very accommodating and friendly; helping us organize a tuk tuk for the day was just one of the things they setup for us. We also enjoyed using the bicycles to go to the caves, not to mention the dinners and breakfasts, and special teas in the rooms.
You won't regret booking this place.

The place is filled with such good energy, the host and the staff were beyond amiable and helpful, were so grateful to this beautiful place. Also, the dinner was superb, literally the best meal weve had in Sri Lanka.
Just a small detail for night owls like us - since its a small and cozy guesthouse with an open terrace with tables outside the rooms you might hear other early birds guests when they wake and have breakfast/talk outside. Its inevitable in many places and didnt bother us much but maybe its important for some.
Also, the water was more on the slightly warm side rather than hot, but it wasnt an issue since its been a perfect tropical heat outside these days

I loved everything about it. The blackout curtains, the fancy tea sets, the shampoo and conditioner, the controls for lights and fans by the end, the staff, the coffee and water in the room, the Japanese style decor.

Extremely confortable room. The personal was super kind and helpful, even landed us bikes to explore the surrounding. Place was really quiet. Bathroom was super clean and had good shower pressure. The best place we stayed at during our vacation, would definitely stay again

Very comfortable small (4rooms) hotel, spotlessly clean. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very well equipped with everything from bathroom essentials to USB chargers. We ate breakfast and dinner there and it was delicious. Just outside town they have their own tuk-tuk. And no mosquitoes!

A place made for relaxation. The house and garden are tastefully decorated in Japanese style, with incense sticks adding to the harmonious atmosphere. Great food, smiling and very helpful staff, willing to help organise trips. They lent us bicycles free of charge - thanks to them we were able to explore the more distant, picturesque countryside. We felt so comfortable in the accommodation that we cancelled part of the programme and just relaxed. In my son's opinion, the best accommodation in Sri Lanka!

It's not often I give a rating of 10. However, Sri and his team go out of their way to ensure you have a very comfortable and pleasurable stay in Dambulla.
The location is in a peaceful area with a reservoir nearby that is lovely to walk round and for birdwatching.
The rooms are of a very high standard, very clean and comfortable, with aircon, tea and coffee facilities, water, fridge and great bathroom facilities.
The food is delicious, and you can order dinner here too - all freshly homemade and very tasty.
There are good quality bikes you can use (foc) to explore the area and Sri will help with organising tuk tuks to visit the temple caves and Lion's rock - both of which I can highly recommend.
A free tuk tuk service is also provided for pick up on arrival and drop off on departure.
All in all, exceptional service and great value for money.

Lovely house with veranda with different seating areas in delightful gardens. Quiet area, beautifully maintained. Exceptional, friendly staff and very good supper and breakfasts. We were hooked up with driver Neel for our two day stay and the trip on to Kandy and couldnt have wished for a more accommodating guide, and careful driver.
Just the room a bit dark because the windows open onto the veranda, so curtains kept closed for privacy, but not a big deal!

We had a marvelous stay at the green edge. Sri and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The rooms were calm, clean and restful, and we woke up every morning feeling fit as a fiddle, because the bed was excellent as well. Our best recommendations and a lot of gratitude for making our stay so pleasant

Perfect, calm place with wonderful garden and comfortable room equipped with everything you would need including electric kettle and choice of tea&coffee, hair dryer, towels, shower gel.clean room, spacious bathroom. Wonderful meals(including really nice coffee)

I genuinely dont leave reviews ever (Im a bad person I know) but I felt compelled to for this place.
The rooms are immaculate, clean, relatively modern. Its not in the city centre itself - but rather a 5/10 min tuk tuk down a quiet road. The property is beautiful - set in a nice garden.
The breakfast was a basic omelette and toast with jam which is fine enough.
The staff are super friendly and can converse with you in English.
They also have a friendly tuk tuk driver named Priyantha who took me up to Sigiriya rock, the other rock, to the cave temple and back to Dambulla for a reasonable price.
I highly recommend this spot if youre in the area

It was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka! The room is spacious, modern and brand new. Everything was super comfortable (bed, shower...). The staff are wonderful, they made us feel very welcome and helped us with everything we needed! The location is a bit far from the city, which is great because it's in the middle of peaceful nature and it's very easy to get a tuk tuk to go anywhere we need. We highly recommend it!
