The hosts were fantastic! So kind and they made us feel like family! They were both incredibly helpful and were always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay better. They even surprised my daughter on her birthday and provided cake and a present!! So thoughtful! Thank you so much xxxx

Nice stay at Sun&Green with Gayani.
The place needs a little improvements and refreshments but we had a nice time with the swimming pool, settled into a lovely evergreen and flowery garden.
Big shady terrace to enjoy.
We didn't know at the time but Gayani offers tasty sri lankan food if you ask her.
Good location if you want to visit Dambulla, Sigiriya and around. (main road but outside center town)

The host was lovely.
We were given a room on the ground floor of the house. It had a strange smell and was a bit tired. The pool was large but again it was looking tired with uneven tiles. The place is very close to a busy road.

Host is very nice and caring. Food was good and plenty both for morning and evening dinner. Place was clean. Swimming pool was very enjoyable. A/C works perfectly. Plan to have cash (rupees).

The place all together is a wonderful place to be. I was with my mom and she doesn't like things very easily but she loved the place. They helped us with food and the food was tasty as well

PULL AND KIND OWNERS
We loved the swimming pull. It was very clean and the water had great temperature. The owner told us he spends about two hours a day cleaning it. People who worked in this homestay were very nice too. It was very clean and comfortable in a "dining room" which was outside. Cold drink are available in the fridge in the lobby.
HUMIDITY SMELL:
We didn't like the "humidity smell" in the room, but it was probably just in a room on the ground floor and not in the upper rooms. First day we didn't like breakfast because it was just pastery and bananas. We told a lady of the house who owns the apartment that we will like some eggs next day and she preipared egg hoppers.

Great breakfast. Property is amazing with a well maintained swimming pool. The owners were so friendly and ready to help, especially the lady. She organised a great safari where we saw heaps of elephants.

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Dambulla. The hosts were incredibly helpful, assisting us in organizing our trips to Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and the Dambulla caves. We also had dinner at the lodge, and the meal prepared by the host was incredible. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious local products and fresh fruit. Highly recommended!

Friendly and helpful people, amazing food. Great warm showers. The manager drove us on a day outing and was very generous introducing us to local snacks. Another guest had their birthday while there and the managers purchased a cake, involved the rest of the guests in celebrating! They helped us book ongoing travel. The pool was a bonus, it felt like home.

What a lovely and helpful host! We only had 1 day at Dambulla and she made sure to fulfill our wishes for the surroundings. Her husband drove us to a nice ayurvedic center for a massage in the evening. Her diner (Kotu!) was amazing. Good lunch next door at Ceylon Gracious Kitchen, a place the host recommended. They arranged a driver for us to our next place. We felt very welcome ?
