Very Good
Big airy room, balcony, large garden friendly and helpful staff. Will arrange moped rental if asked. Supply free filtered water.
Electric hot water system didn't work, maybe could of used a mosquito net.

The family is so friendly and welcoming. They really helped us during our stay. The location is easy to reach from the bus station. Peaceful place but still close to the main road.

The location was perfect for the bus station but far away from temple entrance.
The room was dirty and the bathroom absolutely disgusting. It smelled of damp in bed- and bathroom.
I wouldn't recommend the place at all. There are much nicer places around.

Nicely located in a quiet secondary road next to Dambulla center, immersed in nature. Its a modest accommodation connected with a very cheap price. The young lady running the place is really nice, attentive and helpful and you can rent a scooter directly there (which was perfect to go back and forth from Sigiriya).
Cons of the big garden are bugs and mosquitos. We were at the ground floor and had a few unpleasant encounters, especially in the bathroom. Maybe a grill for the shower flush is recommendable.

The location is perfect if you travel by bus.
The area only seem quiet, at 4 am the mosque nearby starts praying. The room had a thick smell, the curtains were literally black, plenty of bugs everywhere.

The Familly is really charming, so smiling. A lovely welcome. We stayed several days and it was so peaceful and repas to leave there. I truly recommend ! And the breakfast is nice.
The hotel is real close to the main road but just enough away so it really quiet and green

Good location, right next to the main street, but in a quiet area, surrounded by nature, welcome drink.
The room was sooo dirty, it made me feel very uncomfortable, the only clean thing were bedsheets. Cockroaches, frogs, lizards, mantis, mosquitoes and bunch of other insect inside the room. Broken toilet seat in a way that it's stabbing you everytime you sit down. Shower almost not working (only such a thin stream of water). Very horrible and intense smell in the bathroom. Everything half broken.
The woman running this place speaks poor English and gave us a very bad recommendation for a massage, we ended up paying 1000 lkr more than agreed on, moreover it was 40 minutes shorter!

Excellent stay ! Very good location in a street just next to the main road where you can take buses to lion rock, golden and cave temples, Kandy, Colombo, etc. It's in a very quiet street with a large peaceful garden front of rooms. Clean and comfy bed, clean bedroom and bathroom, mosquito nest, good electric plugs, good wifi and useful five-liters bottles for sale. You can rent from there scooter or bicycles to hang around. And finally excellent family staff, welcoming, discreet and helpful. Thanks a lot : )

Quiet location on side street - no traffic noise yet just 300 metres from the main bus stop north of the clocktower. Room was large, staff (family) was friendly and helpful. Grandaughter doubled as interpreter. Taxiied us to Cave Temples for free, Polonnaruwa day hire for very reasonable price. Room came equipped with a mosquito-eating roof lizard.
Room was clean but a little run down; smelled like moth balls until air-con cleared the air. Resident cat snubbed us!

best location ever (it is about 16 kilometers from sigiriya). we took a bike (wish our host arranged for us) to sigirya and on our way back we went for a swim in the lake. the family took us with them to a national park for elephant-watching and even to a puja. such nice people.

Location is really good. The hotel is nearby bus stop - around 5 mins. The room is okay. The host is super friendly. She will welcome you with a cup of coffee or tea. She also arranged for us transport to Pidurangala :) and packed a breakfast for us as we were leaving early in the morning ! ;) once again - Thank you!!!!
