Lovely rooms in a great location!
They organised us a tuk tuk tour which was really good!
The bathroom floods when you shower and doesn’t drain for hours. (The only reason I didn’t give it a 10 rating because this was quite annoying)
On the tour the driver might try to take you to Ariya restaurant that costs 2500lkr for rice & curry with terrible ratings - but if you ask to not go there they will take you wherever you want :)

A very cozy and lovely hotel with friendly staff and owner. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious. In the evening, you can relax by the pool while watching monkeys that sometimes come by. The place feels really homey and peaceful. The owner can help arrange various activities like safaris, sunset viewings, and more. Highly recommended!

The staff were very helpful.
The arrangement of the shower in the bathroom means that all of the floor becomes wet during and after a shower. If you go back into that room for the toilet or sink your feet become wet again. It is not a deal breaket, but it is annoying.

Very friendly staff and able to help arrange transport or tours (Sri Lankan-style). Less than 1km from Dambulla temples and caves, and a short tuk tuk ride to the town centre of Dambulla. Breakfast and dinner can be provided for a fee. Pool is deep so not as suited for young kids but was refreshing to cool down from the heat. The friendly staff made our stay the best!

Dorms are in a separate house from the namesake nearby resort. The beds and (cold) showers on site are OK. At the time of my stay, the kitchen was not equipped and wi-fi barely worked. However, all the amenities of the resort (great buffet breakfast, pool, hot showers, fast wi-fi, nice communal areas) are available also to the hostel guests and everyone there is friendly and efficient so it turns out to be an amazing value for money.

I had a lovely stay here. The dorm is simple, but it was enough — clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The pool is definitely nice to have — great for a quick dip and to cool off. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and there’s even a hidden sunset point nearby that offers an amazing view — don’t miss it!
But the best part of all was the owner. He was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help me with everything I needed. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference. Highly recommend this place!

We really loved staying here, we really enjoyed talking with the owner Chandana and his staff; everyone was incredibly kind and helpful in connecting us with a good tuktuk driver, suggestions on places to visit, and answering questions. Do not miss the nightly sunset stroll to the high point in the neighborhood, it is not to be missed! The dining area really encourages interaction with the other guests and staff, so our stay was interesting and good conversations were had. This was one of the best breakfast we’ve eaten in our several weeks traveling; a lovely breakfast buffet is served every morning.

Wonderful pool and dinner area. If you have a problem, it will be solved. Dinner was really tasty. absolutely recommended the trip with Chandana and his TukTuk. We saw with Chandana more animals than by safari, because Chandana has eyes like an eagle ?

Host was very helpful with planning and organising local trips with fair pricing. Breakfast and dinner were in traditional Sri Lankan style are they were tasty. Staff was friendly and happy to help with anything.

Perfect location far from the noise of the streets and close to all the landmarks in the area. The staff are very helpful and welcoming! There is a hotel driver who gave us a whole excursion around the area and showed us all the beautiful spots and viewpoints. Strongly recommend asking the host for their driver.

The owner, Chandana was brilliant, on arrival we explained our idea for 4 days stay. He organised everything for us. We went to Dambulla caves, golden temple, sigiriya, polonnaruwa, elephant safari in huluru eco park ( that was the area the were in, we saw over 60 ). Our tuk tuk driver, who works for the hotel, also another Chandana , was awesome on the 2 trips we had with him to polonnaruwa and sigiriya, he took us to all the best spots and great knowledge. Very kind man. Every evening there is also a guided free walk to near by sunset rock to see awesome sunset . Loved our stay and trips we did from here.
