Very quiet and nice hotel. The host was super helpful and helped us organize our trip and transport on very short notice (2-3 hours before starting). Breakfast was plenty and the Freitag platter a highlight. 10-15 minute walk to the city center. Can definitely recommend

Nice big rooms set in a pretty resort. The worker was so helpful in organising us Tuk Tuks and he also organised us a taxi at 4:30am for the sunrise hike at Pidurangala.
The road to the property had no lighting, but a tuk tuk to the main road was very cheap so it wasnt much of an inconvenience.

The employees were helpful and welcoming.
We had booked a room without air conditioning. When we got there, they asked us if we wanted a room with air conditioning by paying $4 more per day. We said no, we don't want it. Despite this, they gave us a room with air conditioning. We thought they were doing this out of goodwill. However, we paid $8 more for an air-conditioned room that we did not request upon check-out. Apart from that, we understand that we are in the forest, but during our two-night stay, there were cockroaches in the room constantly. We asked for help from them on the first night and they welcomed it. On the second night we killed the insect ourselves and thanks to the ants in the room, they destroyed the dead cockroach. It was also said that there was a hair dryer in the room, but the plug of the existing hair dryer is not from Sri Lanka. So, even for the hair blow dryer they offer us, you need to have a plug converter. Also, even there was the necessary plumbing, there was no hot water.

The facilities and management were great! Great location- just a 12-15 min walk to the city centre and bus stop. Beautiful place and totally worth it for the price they offer the rooms for.

Nice place with a small garden and cute little terrace. The host was speaking fluent english and helped us with booking a safaritrip and a private driver (both trips were with drivers who speak very basic english). Breakfast included a lot of breakfast, we used laundry service which they offer.

I like the place very much. Its location allows to visit the Cave temple on foot, also it's close to bus station and food market, but at the same time you don't hear the noise of cars. The owner was really nice, the price is more than available. You also have some welcome shampoo, shower gel and even hair dryer.
