Had a great time at Peacock Resort. Their service was the best & room was really clean. Breakfast had variety of fruit plate with many dishes. Recommend for everyone who love stay calm & quite environment. This place is the best

Location was just a short walk from the main road/town. The property was peaceful and breakfast was amazing! A few more bugs then I am used to but we were surrounded by trees, bushes, etc.

We had a perfect stay here. Room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The room was spacious enogh with plenty of room to move about. The room had a small fridge,TV, hairdryer and kettle. Also furnished with a table and chair and outside seating in front of the room. If you like peace and quiet and a convenient location near the town. Only a 10 minute walk then you should consider this establishment.
Bathroom was a bit small but considering all the other positives this place has to offer it is a minor observation.

The room was big and it has a nice garden. The breakfast was good. We've also got good tips about what to see and the host even organized it for us with a driver.

Fantastic value for money budget hotel in centre of Dambulla, but down a quiet road. The deluxe room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and hot pump shower (quite rare in Sri Lanka!) Breakfast was incredibly generous - lots of fruit and baked goods. The manager is so helpful. He’ll sort you out with wherever you want to go or whatever you need. Rooms are basic but have everything you need.

Huge fruits plate for breakfast. Comfortable room which has fan and fridge.
Everything was ok, except the bathroom which was very dirty and smelly and ruined the experience. A lot of ants inside the room and bathroom.

The outside area of the property was well-maintained and pleasant. Indeed, there were two chairs that you could sit on outside the room. The manager also provided us with our room before check-in which was welcomed.
The room contained quite a few insects, especially large ants. The mosquito net also had dead mosquitos in it (a quick change of this would have greatly improved the stay). Also to remember, the air con is an extra $3. Although the location is a short walk from the main street, it is a dark road that is not well lit. If the mosquito net was changed, it would be better value for money.

Amazing. Totally clean. New shower. Very very friendly owner and staff. Breakfast purely exceptional. 400 meters from the city center but absolutely no noise — you can sleep the window open if you like. Plenty of birds around, and you can hear some peacocks
Honestly it is impossible to complain — it is absolutely perfect.
