The location is excellent, next to the bus stand, but there is no noise at all at night, very quiet. The room and bathroom are large and clean. Breakfast was rich and delicious. The host can arrange an excellent driver to take you to Lion Rock or other attractions.

As previous reviewers noted, the best aspects are being behind the bus station and yet quiet and the supportive ness and courtesy of the manager "Lucky". Additionally, the birdsong outside the breakfast room in the morning is special. Rooms are bright and airy.
The owner needs to invest in commercial grade cleaning equipment and products so staff can maintain a better standard.

Great location opposite bus station comfy bed Ac and ceiling fans balcony and good food available with a very friendly owner and staff
The bathroom does have a sewage odour if you close the door but if you open the door and patio for 5 minutes it soon clears but for the price it is fantastic

Excellent location right by the bus station, still it's remarkably quiet. Friendly staff. Big and spotless clean room and bathroom. My room was on the 2nd floor and I had a balcony overlooking the jungly tree tops. Birds singing and monkeys occasionally jumping around. There is an outdoor garden sitting area, a semi outdoor all day restaurant and even a bar. The WiFi was exceptionally good for Sri Lanka. (WiFi in the rooms only). What more do you need? - and Dampulla is definitely worth stopping over to see.
It was nothing I didn't like.

Beautiful property.
Very kind and helpful host. Beautiful rooms and conmon area. Breakfast doesnt have many options but the way they present it, it looks good.
Overall comfortable stay and great value for money. Property is just opposite to Dambulla bus stand which makes it very easy to commute.
They dont provide water bottle.
They charge extra if you pay by card.

Everything was absolutely perfect: from an exceptionally friendly and helpful host who supported us at every moment stay, guided us to the bus station, taught us play carrom and and was easy to talk, to tasty and affordable food, clean and comfortable room and a fantastic location (just next to the main bus station).
Couldn't recommend this hotel more, definitely the best location we stayed in Sri Lanka.

I had a pleasant stay at Grand Milano. Staffs here are super nice and helpful. They solved any requests just in seconds. The room is spacious with a balcony and basic facilities. Both room and toilet are clean. They also provide a welcoming drink and a decent breakfast, which beyond my expectation with this price. Also, it's just a few meters to get to the main bus station - so convenient. I recommend to anyone to come to stay here :)

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very helpful and kind, room was clean and had ac and the breakfast was amazing for the price we paid. It is also just a few meters from bus station to Sigirya. I highly recommend it.
