Hotel with a distinct character, blending tradition with modern amenities. Located in a peaceful, lush and serene setting, not too far from the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Sigiriya Lion Rock fortress. We got upgraded while checking in, which enhanced our stay.
The gym could be better, but then I am nit picking :-). There are enough outdoor activities in the area, so this is not a big deal.

Lots of taxes when you eat or drink smt, and also we wanted to use tuk tuk and the stiff said that they have their own tuk tuk which was very high price. And we said we wanted to use app to call a tuk tuk, they insisted on application didnt work in there and use their own tuk tuk

Very clean and spacious room with a great view over the swimming pool and the garden and mountains
The food was delicious and an outstanding breakfast. A mix of oriental and western breakfast options. The staff was super friendly and helpful
There was some confusion about the beds for the children but that was also quickly resolved
The swimming pool is huge and more than welcome after visiting the temples. We could have stayed much longer

Fantastic stay at Jetwing Lake. Pool was outstanding, beautifully designed and the setting was incredible. Lots of nature to see including monkeys, birds and butterflies. Food options were endless and excellent. The staff put on a brilliant Sinhala new years festive day which was fun to experience. Highly recommend.

A fabulous and peaceful location with beautiful views. We had a suite and our room and balcony were very spacious. Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Plenty of activities to visit nearby as well.
It’s the same for most hotels - but they don’t seem to cater well for families. Even though we were in a huge suite the size of a two bedroom flat there was no separate child’s bedroom. It was all open plan.

We stayed 2 nights in Jetwing Lake, it’s like heaven. Totally recommend to stay here, very welcoming staff, super clean rooms and amazing pool. Totally worth for the money.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very modern but a great setting. We used the bicycles to cycle around the lake. Swimming pool is stunning at 72m in length. Free room upgrade so what’s not to like!!
We got a great room rate ($95) but with all the food add ons it was a high end price. But nonetheless very impressive.

Beautiful, large rooms with a great bathroom and outlook across a tranquil lake. Excellent buffet. Good pool and gym. Lovely staff.
Was quite far from the main attractions in Sigiriya and Dambulla does not have many dining options, so it's the hotel buffet (which is excellent and we did one night) but had to travel 30 minutes each way to Sigiriya for dinner on 2 nights.

Beautiful view of the lake from our room and also the pool. Lovely spa and the food was delicious both breakfast buffet, evening buffet and the a la carte menu.
The only thing I would comment on was that the room we had didn’t really comfortably sleep 4 people. One spare bed was bought in but the sofa was made up as the 4th bed, which was ok for a couple of nights for our 10 year old - but wouldn’t be so great for longer stays or older teens.
