The room was massive and super comfortable with a great view of the lake. Wad a pleasure to wake up to every morning. The staff was also wonderful.
The food really wasn't very good. Not terrible , but nothing to look forward to.

The resort is a beautiful haven tucked away from the business of the area. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made our stay a pleasure. The food was also exceptional

Exceptional stay, the accommodation was top notch. Spacious room, decent sized, covered balcony with great views across the pool and lake. The food was superb! A huge and varied choice for both breakfast and dinner. One enormous buffet. We jogged around the perimeter of the lake on small roads with only peacocks and monkeys for company. Bring binoculars to see the stunning birdlife: kingfisher (several kinds), bee eaters, sun birds, pelicans, storks, eagles, egrets, and many more. Some local walking, too . A good way to visit the Golden Buddha .

The location speaks for itself and is amazing. The customer service here was incredible. We were overwhelmed at the highest level of service we received. All the staff had a genuine desire to take care of us and make our stay the best it could be. This was some of the best customer service we have received anywhere.

The setting is serene and the property so spacious and beautifully styled and maintained. Staff seem genuinely happy and delighted to help with anything, we enjoyed chatting to them. The infinity pool is massive and a welcome respite after a day out in the heat. We stayed in a top floor suite, enormous, super comfortable and well worth the splurge.

Comfortable rooms, an excellent swimming pool, and a good variety of food at meal times. The hotel is situated on a property with a lake and is conveniently located to attractions like Sigiriya. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
What could be improved is the efficiency of the staff. Although they are generally friendly and courteous, they lack initiative which in turn impacts on efficiency.
