Wonderful
Good location right in the center of Dambulla, very large and spacious room/bathroom. Let us check out later & leave our bags with them for a few hours on our final day. Friendly and welcoming staff.
No restaurant available but idk if that’s because we came in low season?? Rooms are a lil damp smelling and outdated but for a few nights it’s nicer than most. Card machine was down so cash only. Not great if you’re a light sleeper, can hear a lot of horn beeping through the night. I didn’t sleep great but my bf was completely fine .

We total 3 ppls, booking 2 rooms in this hotel. After check in, the hotel guy took us to our rooms and I go out shortly to my friend’s room next to my room.About an hour later, around 11:00, when I returned to my room, we discovered that the window was open, even though it had been closed when we left. Suddenly, a bare-chested man who only cover his lower body walked out of my room—he was the receptionist who had taken us there. We were all shocked. He claimed he was there to take out the trash. It's 11pm and we didn't request any room service.
The Hotel Manager knows this happen and only call me by phone repeat their hotel is very safety even she is in the hotel.
The next day, we move to another hotel even we already paid 2 night room rate. Personally, I feel this hotel is very unsafe. My friend's room was also in bad condition, with many insects and everything on the walls being very old. I do not recommend staying here.

Location is in main road, Sigiriya is only 20 mins away. People are very nice. Dep is the best host.

Uncomfortable...had a tough time negotiating the stairs as no lift is there
Bathroom was very ill provided ..taps leaking and some broken
No proper cloth hangers in bathroom...
Aircon ineffective...
The owners are not interested to renovate...
Things are falling apart with no replacement budget.... indifferent..
Restaurant has no service ...
Overall would not recommend to any of my fellow citizens..

Chandena our host was outstanding. Extremely helpful, positive and a genuinely nice guy. The food was fantastic at the hotel, comfortable bed, and lovely to have a pool. The aircon was quiet and efficient.
We would have loved a fridge in the room.
We used our own mobile internet.

Although very near to the busiest street in town, our room was quite silent. The place has great, big and clean pool.
Breakfast not included, an extra 2000/rupies is quite a lot. The social area looks much bigger on photographs than it really is. The room was a big downside. Beds were fine and clean, but the room was quite stinky, the only window leads to the hall. AC was uncleaned, too. The worst experience was the bathroom. It stays very wet and humid permanently because there is a poor pavement finish with no plinths at all, so the walls stay wet. Also the AC water outlet keeps leaking to the shower area permanently because of a poor finish. And during the night there were also cockroaches. Definitely not the best value for money we've seen so far.

The hotel itself is very nice, located in downtown Dambulla.
The staff is super helpful, and always polite.
The room was nice, very comfortable bed.
Unfortunately, the hotel being in the center, I had a very hard time sleeping because of constant honking and various noises coming from the street, I would also recommend giving earplugs to customers.

We loved the the lovely outdoor seating area and the staff here were so kind and helpful.
They organised a Tuktuk for us (I believe with one of their trusted drivers?) who tried to take us to a spice garden. We were aware that this is a well-known scam so were disappointed when he pulled into the spice garden and left us alone with the people who worked there to try to get us out of the tuktuk.

Wonderful
This hotel is a little oasis in the crazy main drag of Dambulla. We found it good to travel to other places, got a tuk tuk to Anuradhapura, that was an experience!
The food at this hotel was amazing, there’s a wait, because everything is cooked fresh, but it’s well worth waiting for. The staff are so helpful. Recommend.
It maybe could do with a little tlc. But for the money, you cannot worry about that.

It’s staff it’s amazing, very helpful, friendly and polite. In the downstairs restaurant the food was good, the beer was cold and the vibe was very nice.
We got very good tour recommendations .. and avoided tourist traps.
English is very well spoken at this property.
The sheets and towels were clean
Wi-fi was working well.
Well…it’s a business in development and for their efforts and staff I wasn’t really objective on the rating. The room was in poor conditions…a lot of damaged furniture and improvised installations.
The room had an old carpet ..was dark and smelly because of the humidity.

The room was very clean. Nini and her staff were very sweet, kind and hospitable. Nini helped us plan our itinerary too.

Very Good
The staff and owner are the sweetest and most generous people, they really made sure we had a comfortable stay. The food at the restaurant is amazing as well, and they make the most delicious fruit drinks! The wifi was good and the rooms were spacious.
There could have been more electrical outlets/plugs to charge our devices. Also, the AC was quite loud at night.

Exceptional
A lovely hidden property, just tucked behind the bustle of the Main Street, but so tranquil. Nini, our host, was so friendly and helpful, and our dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious.
