I like the location it near to dambulla city. And also the staff was friendly and help full. They ful fill out needs and also the room was big and clean and the wass was clean as well and also the breakfast was delicious. And also they are giving us lots of options on going safari,Sigiriya,pidurangala and etc... Thank you.

Owner & staff very helpful. Free transport to Dambulla Caves and no problen in collecting us from the town. Nice breakfast. Lovely pool which was v refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Bed v comfy and had a restful sleep. Would happily stay again.

It was a nice big room with a little balcony - better than I expected for the budget option. The fridge was welcome too, for beers bought at the offie in the main road!
Breakfast was awesome- best we've had in 4 weeks in SL! Big enough to share - or put in your fridge for later ?.
The pool is amazing - big and cool.
Staff were helpful with good recommendations for local drivers.
The bathroom seemed a little grubby round the edges but everything else was perfect.

The owner was very nice and helped us catch a bus by driving us to the station with his beautiful Jeep.

Spacious room with seating area, refrigerator, big bathroom with bathtub and shower (even with partition wall!) and balcony. Great pool. Sockets for European plugs. A free ride to the bus stop the next morning.

We chose this for easy access to the Caves. It was a great choice. Huge pool to cool off in. Rooms are also large, comfortable and fully equipped. Dinner was also prepared bang on time despite regional power cut.
Great staff who sorted out tuk tuks at a fair price.

Everything, large well appointed room and large bathroom, good shower.
Lovely pool area with towels and sunbeds.
Really excellent breakfast and super friendly and helpful hosts as well as staff.
5 minutes walk to main road shops and cafés.
Tuk tuk arranged for day trip, driver Lasa very helpful and safe!

The rooms were large. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I had an ear problem. The owner arranged for a doctor on a holiday, drove us to the doc, stayed with us, took us to the pharmacy and drove us back. There was a nice pool, but we did not have the chance to use. The property was very well kept.

I had a large, spotless, well-equipped room with a spacious balcony overlooking the generous swimming pool. The staff were unfailingly helpful; they organised tuktuks, advised on outings and transport options - they even drove me to the bus when I (reluctantly) left.
What was exceptional, though, was the breakfast - I've never had anything like it: amazing food, beautifully presented. I really, really didn't want to leave. Freedom Village is punching way above its weight - it's fantastic!

Such nice and friendly staff. Friendly and helpfull! And a good location in Dambulla, not far from the golden tempel. On arrival as welcome we got a fruitjuice and also when we left... Such a nice guesture..
The hotel needs some maintainance and we were the only guests at that moment so there was no breakfast,food or drinks available at that moment. Understandable, while the staff was so friendly and helpfull.
