I had a lovely stay at Family Nest in Dambulla. The room was cozy and clean, the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was tasty! I highly recommend this place!

Nice and cosy room and friendly family environment. Nice garden and sitting area. Good location close to Golden temple Cave temple and bus dtop. Delicious food both for breakfast and diner with a lot of variation and even a desert evety night.
Personally I prefer mosquito net in room as I always get bitten.

The real family, homely welcoming, combined with the wish of the family to involve the host into Lankan food, tradition, nice tips.
And the chants at morning time of the children are the nearby kindergarden!

It's very close to the Golden Temple but not close to the town.
The garden is stunning with outdoor seating and out of the main road.
The family is very nice and caring.

Great place to stay!
Just in front of the golden temple : perfect location.
The family took care about us from A to Z!
They gave us suggestions and cooked a typical dinner for us.
Ishu took us around with the tuktuk for a full tour of the area: we felt like locals. What a great experience!

Everything was just perfect. So kind people, such a lovely place, amazing breakfast and diner, amazing day tour to Sigiriya and Polonnawura with the son of the owner :).

We stayed 2 nights at Oasis and were provided a big family room. Pradeep has been so helpful in giving any recommendations and available to arrange a tuk tuk for us to visit Pidurangala rock. Beautiful garden and convenient location close to the bus stop and Golden temple. We had the possibility to dry our clothes on tue terrace and on the patio too. We could avail of a local breakfast on both morning.
Unfortunately I have to mention that we didn’t sleep well on both nights due to mosquitoes that kept entering in the room at all times. Even thought there were mosquitoes nets they had some holes and we were bitten. I would strongly advise to find a way to close the windows openings, like applying insects screens.
The wi-fi connection was limited at certain times.
