We had an amazing stay in Dambulla! The first thing was the welcoming hospitality from Pradeep and his family. They made sure we were enjoying, he gave us many recommendations and prepared amazing food! (Two of us are vegan and he adapted everything for us). Second one, the beautiful and peaceful garden. The location is close to town, but for who is looking for tranquility, family Nest is the right place. Room has enough space. Everything was clean. Thank you for making our days much better! We hope to came back!

Large, thought out rooms with comfortable bed, desk, seating area and large bathroom. Sockets and light switches in sensible places (next to bed and desk). The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the cave temples but off the main road so nice and peaceful.
The family who run the guesthouse could not be more friendly and accommodating. Coffee/tea always available and lots of useful information/advice. On arrival the owner kindly went to the store for me to get some supplies. After a small dog bite he took me to the hospital and waited around for hours whilst I had various rabies injections. The service they offer is well beyond expectations, they want to make you feel at home. I could not recommend this place highly enough

You can order breakfast and dinner.
He recommended a few places and took me there on the way to Sigiriya. I had a massage at the Ayurveda centre, but the prices are a bit high and the staff arent very professional. So if you dont want to get disappointed, you should go go somewhere else.

The proprietor was really super helpful and responded to all our questions. He gave tips and supported with all things. We are sad that we could only stay there for one night. It should be emphasized that the rooms are large and clean. The beds are very comfortable and on the whole it was just a come home

I was very happy that the staff treated me like family. In addition, all the rice made by my mother was the best! I want to go again.
Wifi didn't work and the shower wasn't warm. But for me it wasn't a big deal.

Nice host family and a clean room. The location is walking distance to the Cave Temple, some basic restaurants and a small supermarket. I would have loved to stay 1 more night. Thank you!

The staff - Pradib and his wife - were very welcoming and kind. I was cooked a marvellous Sri Lankan dinner from local produce, and my host went out of his way to get me some beer. The location is pleasant too.
there are regular power-cuts, although that's hardly the hotel's fault. Wifi is very slow and patchy.

A very very nice and helpful family. Great time in a nice and cheap stay. very close to Dambulla city, Temple and other nice things.
if you want to do something just tell the host and he will organize everything for a nice price. (safari, tours, )

I had a great stay. Pratel likes to fullfill all wishes his clients produce. Also within super short notice. He even picked me up with his scooter, when it turned out, that the bus left me at the wrong place. Food is great for a reasonable price. I can strongy recommend this place for everyone looking for a quiet place, a nice family, good food and lots of travel advise
