Really nice place, rooms are very spacious and really nice.
To spoil an otherwise excellent stay, one of the family, a guy who arranges transport, booked me a car for a trip I didn't ask for. I arrived for breakfast at the usual time 8am but was confronted with "... your driver is here, he's been waiting since 6.30am". I was totally confused and went out to see the driver along with the guy who'd booked him. I told the driver that I hadn't booked this trip ... the transport guy said "But he's cancelled all his other trips today so he can drive you, it's 15,000 rupees, I didn't have your phone number". Long story short, I gave the driver 5,000 as he may have been conned into taking me on a trip. The experience was a bad reflection on this property and the other family members who run the business as they are all very nice, very helpful, and try their best to provide a very nice and comfortable stay ... pity.

What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.

I love everything about this homestay. The family is awesome, extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room is massive with a pantry and a large bathroom. There were sufficient hangers and a sturdy bar for us to hang our clothes and washing. The mosquito net covering the entire bed is such a wonderful add-on. Really appreciate all these details to ensure our comfort.

The rooms were very clean , owners were very welcoming. Also, the location is the best part for us as we were travelling by bus and the bus stand is hardly 50m from the house and buses are available for each and every locations. So many cafés and Marts within 50 m of the stay.
Everything was just perfect, no complaints at all !! Highly recommended.

Big rooms, comfy beds, very good AC, and a nice balcony. The water got hot every time. We also really liked the cutlery and plates, which made eating in the room very easy. The family who runs the place is also very kind and it is very close to all the action but still feels peaceful. I would definitely stay here again thank you.

A nice place in centre of Dambulla on sideroad so it is quiet and peaceful. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was Srilankan and was exeptional ? Host organised us airport transfer and tuk tuk to Sigirya. Also was very helpful with organising sightseeing.

Really friendly staff. We received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Near to the main Dambulla road but set back in its own peaceful area. Nice family run feel.

Very nice welcoming, delicious and hearty breafast, problem with water solved straith away, hot shower, a lot of electric sockets and good location. We also got some snacks on the road:)

Hosts offered us their taxi service, overall pretty good stay.
