Dambulla Hills Resort was an excellent base for our stay in the cultural triangle! The team were very welcoming and super helpful when we needed a Tuk Tuk ordering, we even managed to arrange a 4am pick up to hike Pi rock for sunrise (definitely worth it!) We were upgraded to the 5-bed villa as there had been an overlap while booking, so we ended up with a beautiful big property at the end of the estate! I’d definitely recommend this place for a base to explore!
It’s not the closest to the town centre, possibly not walking distance (we didn’t as there were national power cuts and didn’t fancy walking the roads in the dark!) but the team were able to organise Tuk Tuks for any journeys we did need to make, and also cooked an amazing meal for us we didn’t need to venture any further for great food!
