The property is very close to Dambulla, but still in a very quiet place surrounded by the nature. The room was big, comfortable and well designed and furnished. The food was excellent too and the people working there has been lovely! A shame we only spent one night there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, ensuring a good nights sleep. The ambiance was quiet and cozy, which we truly appreciated. What stood out the most was the owners exceptional hospitality. He went above and beyond by driving us to the bus station and even flagged down a bus to take us to Kandy. Highly recommended!
Our only minor suggestion would be a more diverse breakfast selection. Nevertheless, highly recommended!

The furnishing of the rooms and layout of the property was exceptional. It's a well maintained building and the staff was always ready to deliver an exceptional service. The manager was very accommodating to our requests and ensured we had a comfortable stay.

Nice place, really nice staff and the jewel in the crown was the cooking. We paid for half board and the food provided was excellent. It was far better than any restaurant that we went to in Sri Lanka and was up to 5* western standard cuisine (or better). Really not something we expected but were continually impressed with each meal.
Our room was very large - somewhat in need of maintenace and had a leaking AC unit which could not be fixed. Also issues with the water as one of bathrooms didn't have cold water so it was too hot.

The place was amazing such a great stay! we were welcomed with fresh cold watermelon juice. our room and shower were huge with plenty of space for our luggage and everything we brought with us. we had a great shower with lots of pressure and hot water and lots of light in the room. the outside pool is very inviting as well and we enjoyed spending the evening there as well as the afternoon after our hikes. the staff is very nice and welcoming. they prepared for us breakfast to go so we could take it on our early 6am hike, and they welcomed us back for us to shower before we checked out despite it being after our checkout. honestly this place treats guests very well and you feel that their intentions are that you are satisfied. we also had a great lunch before heading out and would have spent more time in their pool if we could. highly recommended
I would recommend bringing anti-mosquito gel and everything, its not really the hotels fault since this is the climate in sri lanka so bring these products with you everywhere

Communication in English is not easy, this absolutely needs to be improved. At the bar/restaurant only two wines are proposed, one red and one white, and both were really bad. No crisps nor olives or similar are proposed as complimentary when you order a beer, only very expensive cashew nuts or peanuts. At dinner, a lot of people were around us (we were the only customers) but no one moved to clean our table when we were finished. Organization could be improved!

Situated in a nice spot among the trees and greens next to a river, a perfect place to get away from civilization and relax and enjoy nature. Breakfast was delicious and filled our stomach. The staff was very friendly and polite.

The highlight for us was the gorgeous bedroom, which was beautifully designed, spacious and clean, with a huge bathroom and outdoor shower! We were really able to spend time and relax there, and on the pretty, quiet balcony facing the pond (although with a few too many mosquitoes and flies!). A small hotel in a quiet spot off the main road, we enjoyed watching nature in the trees around us - birds and squirrels. The pool was well maintained and refreshing. Dinner was excellent, among the best meals we enjoyed in Sri Lanka (we were asked to confirm our orders earlier in the day). The staff were kind, attentive and helpful. I will especially remember the welcoming smiles of the lady in reception (whose name Im afraid Ive forgotten!). Overall, a nice stay and good place to relax.
We would highly recommend investing in a proper coffee machine, so guests can enjoy better quality filter coffee or a decent cappuccino (the current filter coffee was barely drinkable). Also, a couple of advertised features were not as we expected: the cycle hire at the property consists of one tandem and one mountain bike, which wasnt sufficient for a long day of cycling which is what we had in mind (we managed to hire bikes from elsewhere). Also, the complementary shuttle to Sigiriya was in fact a hired Tuk Tuk! This wasnt a problem for us but just wasnt what we expected - a shuttle normally implies a hotel-run vehicle.

The staff literally couldnt be more nice and helpful - from the manager to the porter everyone was super attentive, and made sure we had a good stay. Amazing food (must try the Sri Lankan curry), the chef did everything to accommodate any request.

Excellent welcome which set the tone for our stay. The staff are fantastic and the room we stayed in was perfect. Wonderful bed, big size and lovely balcony. It really is a lovely oasis. We will stay here again.
