The location is perfect! Quiet location with lots of birds.
The room is very clean and comfortable.
The staff is so kind and generous, they made us feel very welcome and at ease.
We ordered breakfast, it is very tasty! And the homemade dinner was delicious.
Don't hesitate to book this resort!

The Host is such a lovely person. We did the free cooking class with them, they show you some traditional Sri Lankan dishes, it was just amazing. After that you get so much food and its so delicious.
The rooms are clean & the bed is comfy. I definitely would come again. You feel welcomed from the first second. We had such a good time here!

Beautiful guesthouse in the country, very quiet and relaxed, nice and clean rooms and very good and copious breakfast. We liked the cooking class very much!
It's a bit isolated from the city but with a tuk tuk it's a short way, and therefore it's very beautiful. Only it's better to take a tuk-tuk from the main street than the one from the host because that's more expensive and the driver was very pushy to choose the restaurant and the drives he wants us to take. Also it's possible to do the trips around to Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa by bus instead of accepting the proposed tuk-tuk-trip from the host which is quite expensive. It's definitely possible to do it by bus, host shouldn't say the untruth to make a business. That's what travellers like us don't like at all.

The worker was very kind, he organised a tuk tuk for very resonable prize. The food was amazing. Cooking course was fantastic. We had lots of fun.
Animals around the property were very loud so we had troubles sleeping. Air conditioning was not working so the air was hot and wet.

Hotel located in beautiful garden, in quiet area 10 min from to the city center. Piyatissa, who is taking care of the place is very kind and generous person. He made us feel like home. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the meals that Piyatissa prepered were delicious. We highly recommend this hotel for those who want to sleep in green, peaceful place. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cooking class was really good and tasty. The accommodation is set far away from the busy roads in a lovely garden with birds and butterflies. Good location to explore surrounding areas. Room was really nice with big bathroom.
Pillows were very uncomfortable for us unfortunately. They were very hard.

Tissa, the man who works here as a host and gives the cooking lessons, is a very kind and friendly man, and the cooking lessons with him were a lovely experience.
The owner is very pushy to sell you trips or to stay longer. He promises different things like free return transport from the bus station, but there was no contact before to pick us up, and we only got dropped off there after 'fighting' about it. There is no wi-fi and cooking classes are not free. (In fact you pay 700 or 750 rupees and you cook your meal together with the staff.) There are no bycicles. Some false advertisement going on here.
