The property has called upon its history of struggles and achievements during its colonial past to make the decoration and wall hangings into something that is a daily source of interest to its visitors. They have successfully blended that with a small swimming pool and other decoration to give an immediate feeling of relaxation. The proximity of a family beach which stretches for miles in both directions and also houses cafes and restaurants with value prices to dream about
I feel sure that many of the things that I found such a feature of daily pleasure will be another persons area for niggling criticism. I however, can only make my own judgement based on having enjoyed a holiday to remember which was in no small way attributed to this hotel and its lovely staff

Very safe and great location. Fully functional room with AC, clean bathroom and nice double (bit short if you're over 5'10!!
Staff were lovely.
Not much to moan about, the swimming pool is a tiddler and a bit cold in the shade all day.. Not somewhere to hang out really.

The staff at The Villa were very accommodating and obliging. They gave good service throughout my stay and allowed to check out at 2 instead of 11 which was something I appreciated. The hotel is comfortable, clean and welcoming.
The hotel is very inexpensive - it really would be churlish to criticise as my stay there was very comfortable

Really enjoyed staying here. The manager is super professional and very helpful, runs this villa incredibly well! The villa itself is beautiful, super clean, good location, and the pool is clean too.

Good location very near the beach. Decent sized room equipped with fridge, kettle and cups. Staff were welcoming.
Air conditioning remote didnt work so unable to adjust temperature. Had to stand on a little table to turn it on and off at the ceiling. Minor issue and can imagine its not the case for other rooms.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

This property is my favourite and stayed 3 times before. Sadly this time it showed some tiredness and need for a bit of maintenance. I totally get that last few years were tough and its difficult the spend money on property if its still not too busy. Anyway the manager is very attentive with lots of experience and Im sure hell bring the place to its former glory.
The cleanliness could have been better and perhaps a better training to the cleaning crew would be useful.
