Ambiance. Like a Garden of Eden in the lobby and dining area. Very helpful staff. Nice dog Max. Delicious breakfast. Lunch and dinner at onsite restaurant also delicious. Peaceful oasis in a busy city. Lovely wood flooring and furnishings. Accommodated my early checkin. So much refreshing simplicity and attention to detail in the decor, music, foliage, and overall hospitality. Feels like a family-run guest house, not a commercial hotel. Just a really nice experience. This is where I plan to stay every time I return to Colombo.

What a great location, peace and tranquility in a bustling city!!
The room was great, nice and quiet with excellent access to the garden area.
the breakfast is also excellent and a great way to kick off the day.
Chamindra and Ruki are super helpful and made sure we were looked after.
Get them to arrange a tuk-tuk tour of Colombo, it's really worth it!!
We were a bit disappointed with the dinner options. We wanted a more authentic Sri Lankan style meal and it wasn't available (or we miss-read the menu). The Poke Bowls were very nice but not what we were looking for.
The location doesn't seem to have a lot of evening restaurant options in the near vicinity, although to be fair we only stayed 2 nights, and didn't arrive at the property until after midnight on the first night, so maybe we missed some food options.

Everything was excellent, particularly the service — everyone was kind and courteous. The breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of options, and the food is fresh. I couldn't recommend it any further. If you come to Sri Lanka, you can trust this place to welcome you.

Loved the ambiance, no mass tourism, nice welcome area, lovely rooms (stayed downstairs).
Liked everything, no complaint. You may find it a bit further from downtown but with Uber or the local version Pickme you get so easily and quickly around. Tuktuks are also on Uber: super practical.

Very friendly staff who go extra mile to make your stay super pleasant. Quiet oasis in a busy city, a bit further from the city center but it’s really worth it. Very easily accessible by bus, tuk tuk or taxi. Totally recommend staying there - the rooms were very comfortable, spacious and clean.

It feels very homey, plus all the studf and Gamini are very accomodating. Max is also the calmest and cutest doggo ever!!!

We had a fantastic experience at this boutique hotel in Colombo. The entire place was spotless and very well-maintained, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention goes to Gamini, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure all guests were comfortable and happy—his dedication truly stood out. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Colombo!
