Fresh, clean, stylish. Very friendly hosts who went out of their way to organise a tuk tuk into the city, and even to find us a driver to take us to Sigiriya at short notice.
Slightly out of town (6-7km) - a couple of tuk tuks even refused to take us back as it was too far

The staff was really exceptional - Gaminies made our stay one of the best I have ever had. He and the rest of the staff were extremely caring and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was also beautiful, and the food from the restaurant downstairs was very nice. And Max (the dog) was so cute!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere. Healthy dishes in the hotel restaurant menu. Globally I definitely recommend.
The rooms are humid, but it seems like it is the same in every place in Sri Lanka as it is a tropical destination.

Gamini and the other staff were very friendly and treated us well. Gamini in particular went out of his way to chase a piece of our luggage that was left in Australia by Qantas but was supposed to reach us before we left Colombo. He made many phone calls on our behalf to check on it's whereabouts. Breakfast was very nice and the garden area was a lovely cool oasis and kept very well. Great ambience.
There was a television on the wall of our room which wasn't in the facilities anyway, but when we questioned the staff about it not coming on they informed us it didn't work. We wondered if that was the case why it wasn't removed. Some general maintenance could be updated but we realise hotels are still recovering from Covid.

Absolutely gorgeous patio, clean and comfortable room with a beautiful glass bottle of water and fresh linens. The staff was very kind and attentive and the breakfast was large and delicious!

Great place in a calm area. Very helpful and nice people who helped us with organizing transport and also prepared an early morning breakfast package. There is a nice garden and rooftop as well as a restaurant on site that serves tasty international poke. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was perfect! It was our first day in Sri Lanka and we arrived already early in the morning, but they went the extra mile in providing a room immediately - after a welcome drink - so we could recover from an overnight flight. Very thoughtful and friendly staff! We fell at home immediately in this little oasis of calm! As a plus, the dinner was delicious!

Quiet, free luggage storage, clean rooms with A/C.
Out of the way location, 30 minutes from most of the tourist places around downtown Colombo (without traffic) and at least 1.5 hours from the airport. If you leave early in the morning tell the staff because they lock the gates overnight. The shower water is not hot. No breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sayura House; Gamini and his team were lovely and so helpful with giving us local tips and tricks. We thought the breakfast was fantastic ..we are missing the Sri Lankan omelettes! We would definitely stay there again if we were to return to Colombo.
Only downside was that it was a little bit far from the centre, but it's only a short bus/tuk tuk journey away.
