Wonderful
Very attentive staff and willing to help when needed, Good food at the restaurant. Breakfast was simple, but can’t complain. Roshine was an excellent help, does not mean that others were not helpful.
Twin room, the second bed could be better and wished it had duvets.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sayura House. The rooms were great, breakfast was delicious, but for us, the staff were the best part. Extremely kind and accommodating, especially given we arrived so late at night.

Very lovely place and workers! We loved everything here- very friendly and top customer service! My two girls loved the place so much- they only want to come to Sayura House in the Future. Also Breakfast and overall Food was amazing! we enjoyed our stay so much :)

- train horning from morning to night and you can hear the noise SUPER clear during the bed hours
- filthy blanket with stains in every sides
- reception staff are cold and non-welcoming with silent treatment for nearly 15min at check in

Feels like you’re at the beach—total oasis in the city! Nice atmosphere in common space and in the room. AC is good and boutique hotel feel. Checked out a bit late and staff was very understanding about that.

Ambiance. Like a Garden of Eden in the lobby and dining area. Very helpful staff. Nice dog Max. Delicious breakfast. Lunch and dinner at onsite restaurant also delicious. Peaceful oasis in a busy city. Lovely wood flooring and furnishings. Accommodated my early checkin. So much refreshing simplicity and attention to detail in the decor, music, foliage, and overall hospitality. Feels like a family-run guest house, not a commercial hotel. Just a really nice experience. This is where I plan to stay every time I return to Colombo.

What a great location, peace and tranquility in a bustling city!!
The room was great, nice and quiet with excellent access to the garden area.
the breakfast is also excellent and a great way to kick off the day.
Chamindra and Ruki are super helpful and made sure we were looked after.
Get them to arrange a tuk-tuk tour of Colombo, it's really worth it!!
We were a bit disappointed with the dinner options. We wanted a more authentic Sri Lankan style meal and it wasn't available (or we miss-read the menu). The Poke Bowls were very nice but not what we were looking for.
The location doesn't seem to have a lot of evening restaurant options in the near vicinity, although to be fair we only stayed 2 nights, and didn't arrive at the property until after midnight on the first night, so maybe we missed some food options.
