The resort is very beautiful, it has a perfect sunset view. Staff were very nice and hospitable. They even have the halal food options and the taste of food was unmatchable.
The resort is at 40 minutes drive from the airport but the grab and uber charges reasonable amount to get you there and these apps work 24/7 if you want to go anywhere.

Very nice place to spend some good times, a beautiful place to enjoy serene vacation. Most of the staff were very cordial, pleasant and helpful, especially Customer Relations Manager Ms Madhu. She was more than willing to help at all times.Very good buffet breakfast with lots of variety to meet the needs of any nationality
At times found some issues with cleaning but upon pointing it out, staff did immediate rectification.

Loved the stay. The food was really good, normally hotel food is a gamble. The accommodation was clean. The bellmen and front desk staff were so lovely. The only names I remember are Diuni and Asher- but there was another gentleman who helped me out who was very kind too. Great staff

Wonderful
The Pegasus Reef Hotel got better and better as one went deeper inside. We reached in the late evening and went directly to dinner in the restaurant outside. As soon as we stepped outside, we could hear Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky Heart being sung by a gentleman really really beautifully. We walked down the pathway listening to the beautiful singing looking at the sea ahead of us . It looked like most of the people had gone to the Buffet restaurant inside because only we were there for dinner. We enjoyed selecting our fish and the Manager and the Chefs were kind enough to make dishes for us which were not on the menu. While we waited for the food to be cooked we enjoyed the cool sea breeze and the beautiful singing of the young lady along with the gentleman's. I very badly wanted him to sing Billy Ray's song again but he sang other great songs . Food was very good and we enjoyed talking to the restaurant staff. After dinner we checked into our 3 rooms. I initially was pretty unhappy thinking we were being given some basement room. It was only in the morning daylight when I moved the curtains aside that I realized that we were in the ground floor rooms and could just walk out of our rooms and have tea sitting on the chairs provided outside or even just walk to the sea a little ahead. Having the sea at one's backyard can't be topped : ) I hope that in future all this is pointed out to the guests when they check in at night time. All the trees added to the beauty outside. My brother went for a morning walk outside the hotel and saw a crocodile where fishing boats were moored in the inlet. Breakfast was an extensive buffet with live counters for eggs, hoppers and roti. Other than the many other dishes and cut fruit and juices were provided. The Pegasus Reef was an excellent introduction to our Sri Lanka trip. The staff was very helpful. All I can say is that we should have stayed for at least 2 nights.
I expected a twin bed in the triple room for my daughter but it was a sofa bed instead. Comfortable enough.

The staff was very welcoming
The hotel was under renovation, and we were not informed in advance. From the moment we arrived until dinner time, there was constant drilling noise. In addition, the rooms smelled of cigarettes.

Clean rooms Very nice and tasty foods
Worst staff ever seen in a hotel except few nice persons. It’s like we invasion of their own place. From the beginning.. 1. I believe having a welcome drink is a simple traditional of any hotel for any guests even for visitors occasionally. But unfortunately nothing was given and offered. 2. Some staff in the front desk dont know how to answer and hanndle their visitors converns and simply dont know how to attarct in a way to get their attraction to come back this place. 3. The staff dont know how to direct guests to relevent place or person when called and ask some thing through intercom. Simply saying this is not the place and end the communication. 4. There was an obvious descrimination for locals and foreigners from the staff. 5. Finally one of pleasent staff attended at the departure and appologised and able to gv some sweets to my kids which i didnt expect.
