The balcony was enormous and had a wonderful seaview, and the apartment was spacious and very cozy. We will miss it, and we hope to come back for a longer stay!

The location is great. A short stroll to the beach , to Mt. Lavinia hotel and to Galle road with lots of eating places. The balcony is nice during the evening, after the heat dies down. It is also a great spot to dry the laundry as it catches the morning sun. The size of the apartment is good. I loved the total privacy. At the same time it's convenient because the owner lives in the next building. The owner can change money at a good rate. The AC was good. There is a kitchen, a fridge and a kettle.
Apartment 21 2/2 : The curtains don't block out the light so it's bright very early in the morning. The bed has an uncomfortable spring mattress. The lighting in the apartment is way too dim. There was no strong bright light for reading. There was lots of mold inside the bathroom and next to the balcony door. From 6:30 a m. onwards the Rickshaws from the bakery are passing by , using a loud alarm. It was an unwelcome wake-up call.

Perfectly situated whole apartments. 2min from the Galle road. Equally 5min to the railway station, and beach. The apartment on the top floor that I had, was spacious, and equipped with everything you'll need to make your stay more personal than in a hotel or hostel. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and balcony were all in good shape and clean. The owner lives next door, and is a very nice and forthcoming man, and available in case of need or Information of any kind of things. Definetly worth a recommendation from my side, and I would come again for the next stay in Mount Lavinia.
