The people were very nice and accommodating
The room and the bedding had a very musty smell. The mattress was very hard and not very comfortable. The was no bedside table lamp or reading light

Wonderful
This is a great apartment close to the city center. I suppose it's only 10-15 mins by tuk-tuk, and only 5 mins to a very good coffee shop. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby. The room is cozy and has everything you might need including air conditioning that's pretty much necessary in such a humid and hot climate. I can't thank enough the owner of this place, he is a very communicative and caring person. Also he has a huuuuuge coolection of vynils and old music devices i haven't even seen before in my life. The breakfast is pretty simple but cooked with love and care, the great beginning of the day. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful
We had such a good time at Minis Residence. Breakfast super traditional and delicious. The owner spent a lot of time with us for giving advices, taking us on a tour in his Oldtimer and we together, having great time listening to his rock collection of vinyls!! Thank you :)

The location is superb. It is very convenient to get to many places from here. The little shops on the road also had good food available and small items that you may need. It isn't far to more shopping and larger stores either. It is easy to get to most places in Colombo from here. The room was fine, and had what was needed. I appreciated the use of a tea kettle in my room, so I could make tea and coffee when I wanted. The fridge was also convenient. Owner was kind enough to help get to a place to do laundry as well.

Eranda was an absolute legend. His mum and dad are so friendly. I booked this accommodation a month in advance and Eranda organized someone to pick me up. He is a true local and grew up where he lives so he knew everyone on his street. He introduced me to the tec guy for my phone and the local takeout guy. He also organized rides for to to get around Colombo. Definitely will be staying with them again.

The host was very hospitable and allowed us to stay longer at his place. So that we could sleep after a difficult flight before travellong by car to another place.

Very Good
It was a pleasant stay with interesting conversations with the host, I wish we had not been so jet lagged as it would have been nice to chat more. He was informative about Sri Lankan culture and its people, and fun fact, he loves music and vynil records. Breakfast was delicious, and he gave us good tips for Colombo. The room was nice and clean.
