The hosts were so kind and welcoming. They made it feel like a home away from home. They assisted us with a taxi from the airport and offered us great advice for restaurants nearby. The hospitality was 10/10 and couldn’t recommend them more. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit Colombo.

Lovely welcome from the hosts with a refreshing glass of passion fruit juice on arrival. Delicious! Comfortable room with air conditioning.

Exceptional! My first ever day in Sri Lanka was blessed by this home and this family. Heartwarming presence of Sudassy (forgive if I misspelled), a very sweet and caring owner. Her husband's, Prabad, guidance on how to proceed in Sri Lanka (easiest way to get to my next destination; Ceylon tea brands and more, he answered all my questions). Exceptional cleanliness of the place and very comfortable room and amenities. I had a very good rest after a sleepless night and a long journey.
The only tiny problem (shall I even mention it, really?..) was the shower sliding door being a bit off its track, so both hands were needed to move it back and forth. Everything else was perfect.

Very neat and clean. The house is beautiful and full of lush greenery. The hosts were kind, warm, welcoming and were very helpful at every turn. I spent Diwali in Sri Lanka, away from family, but they encouraged me to buy little lamps and decorate the house. I was very touched and I thank them for their incredible kindness. Definitely will come back

Friendly helpful Homestay, with a wonderful welcome drink. The house is beautiful, with a very comfortable room and attached shower area. Very clean and well presented
It’s a little hard to find as there is no sign for the property on the main road which would be quite helpful

The owner/family were so kind and informative. Offered coffee and great conversation. The guesthouse is immaculately kept. Quite unbelievable actually. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. The location near the Wildlife office was perfect.

Me and my fiancé spent 2 nights at Orchid villa. The room was very clean. The hosts were kind and helpful. They gave us good recommendations for restaurant and we loved it so much that we kept going to the same restaurant for dinner, lunch and breakfast. Location is little bit further from tourist places what gives you a chance to connect with locals and enjoy real Sri Lanka.
