Wow. The suite was awesome. Huge room with a tub in the middle! Great AC and an incredibly comfortable bed. Strong value, though it's a place for transit it's also a place you wish you could stay and relax for a while.

Villa Airport let us feel very comfortable and welcome. We arrived at 8am, and could stay at the pool until we could check in. That was so nice! We were so grateful after the long flight. Everyone who was working there was very nice. We has the room with the big bath tub. It was wonderful, and had everything we needed. Thank you Team!

Just stayed in this hotel for one night after flying into Sri Lanka. For that purpose, it was sufficient. The staff was friendly and helpful.
There were few mosquitos around but the beds didn't have mosquito nets. One of the bathroom washbasin's tap was wobbling around so had to be careful when turning it on.

Close to the airport. Rooms got very cool with air conditioner and fan. Hosts were very accommodating, helping get us milk for the baby. Breakfast was quick and convenient. Arranged cars to the airport.
I was confused by the listing about the number of beds provided. It was unclear, as it stated 4 beds in one place and 3 in another place. They were quick to respond to my questions via whatsapp.

Super close to the airport, pool to chill out by. Quiet. Staff were kind and accommodated early check-ins/late check outs. I'm very fussy but it was fine for a quick stop over on the way in or out of the country for a longer trip.
We found medication (viagra) in the bedside table, which I would have been really worried about if I had kids. If you are a hotel, this should always be checked. I wouldn't have wanted to stay here for more than an overnight stay and wouldn't eat breakfast. We travelled a month around Sri Lanka and it was the first cockroach we saw in a hotel. But to be honest it's a big and busy city so expect they are hidden everywhere.

Disappointing
Room size, AC, fridge.
At the gate of the premises I was hailed by a heap of garbage including leftover food rotting in the sun. There would have been a second gate, but the staff had decided to pile it up at the main entrance. There it was sitting for the better part of the day, attracting various types of vermin. Before preparing my room the receptionist demanded an extra "service charge" of 10% which I refused to pay. Upon my threat to leave, I was informed, that I wouldn't find anything cheaper and that the "Airport Villa" was fully booked. Both statements proved untrue and I remained the only guest throughout the day.
Apart from cleaning my room superficially, no service of any kind was rendered. The quite substantial number of people present on the premises (all staff?) were predominantly occupied with making phone calls and drinking water from a dispenser presumably intended for use by the guests. No interest was taken in my departure time or transport to the airport.
My room was clean at first sight, later I discovered a used female sanitary pad in the bin, providing me with unwanted information on the gender and hormone
status of my predecessor.
During a late evening visit to the bathroom I encountered a cockroach the size of my thumb under the sink.(Remember: If you see one, there are about 100 you don't.) Well remembering the decomposing garbage at the main entrance , I was only mildly surprised.
Needless to say that I abstained from using the pool.
When I left early in the morning the house seemed to be completely abandoned.

The pick up went smoothly although the vehicle was a touch too small for a family of 4 with luggage but it was a short trip and we managed. We were only staying to sleep after a late night arrival before heading down the coast so the location was perfect, only a few minutes from the airport. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it and the apartment was huge. Breakfast was served and met our expectations with omelettes and fresh fruits. We arrived on a public holiday but the hosts made an extra effort to get the fresh fruit for us.
Nothing to complain about. I would stay here again in the same situation.

Some of the staff were nice other than the manager
I booked a double deluxe room and got a triple room which was not clean, the bathroom was awful, I explained I didnt need a triple room as my sister was leaving us at 10pm for the airport, then I asked someone else to move to the room I booked and it was full, thats why they gave me a triple room

Close to the airport, pick up was there well before we landed. They communicated with us to ensure we made it to the hotel easily and safely. Friendly staff, comfortable room with a/c, and great pool.
