View from seaside restaurant is nice
Rooms are not up to standard. No TV no Wi-Fi. Bed is narrow for a big room we chose. Roof was leaking in heavy rain which we had. Beach is gone. Food expensive for what you get. Staff mostly not interested to serve. Construction in garden going on so even that wasnt usable.

The hotel is right on the beach. Rooms are cozy, comfy and clean the same as a bathroom. Missed fridge in the room. Breakfast is delicous.

I didn't expect this resort to be so tranquil. Passing through the city of Beruwala you do not expect finding such a quiet place just 1-2 km away. It is a perfect spot right on the beach surrounded by coconut palms. The sunset here is simply amazing. You can walk along the beach to Alutghama, the beaches are almost empty and there are several bars around. Served breakfast was more than sufficient: bread, butter, jam, selection from Srilankan or continental breakfast, fruit juices, fresh fruit... There are two restaurants: a "normal" one and an ayurvedic one. Tropical garden with a pool.
There is no wifi and TV (we did not mind)

Wonderful staff, all very friendly and attentive.
Good breakfasts.
The whole setting and the way the beach and garden were kept pristine.
The Ayurveda centre - great massage treatments
The dive centre, which excellently run and we felt in very safe hands.
Great value for money.
Food could be better. One night we ordered tuna steak and fillet steak and both were overcooked. Such a shame as the meat was of very good quality!

Good location next next to the beach but little else pleasant in the immediate vicinity of the resort. Need transport to visit other places of interest.
Didnt quite suit my needs but ideal for couples, quite romantic resort
