Staff went to great lengths to be friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying 2 nights. Exceptional service and lovely environment. Staying on the river was a lovely way to end our tour.

The Pumpkin soup on the first night. We ordered it on the second evening, it was made for us on the third morning, and it was completely distasteful.
Were do I start. We left a day early. The member of staff looking after us had blood pouring out of his mouth, constantly. The blood could be from a number of reasons, one of them, the use of narcotics. Despite us having a privacy notice on our door, he regularly knocked on our door. I order a New Years dinner a week before our arrival, I ordered champagne with this. On New Years Day, I was asked 4 times what we would like for dinner and I had to pay extra for the bottle despite ordering in advance. If you expect to cruise along the river all day, this wont happen, maximum what you will receive is an hour and a half trip in the evening which doesnt consist of anything special and constant promises that tomorrow morning you will go on a three hour cruise, these promises do not come to fruition of course. I urge anyone who is thinking of staying here not to and especially not to pay the ludicrous amounts of money for this genuinely awful experience.

We had a beautiful morning cruise, something you should not miss. The cabin is very nice, the ship has only two rooms, so you will have lots of space for yourself. People are very friendly, anything you want extra they will try to do it for you.

A beautiful setting that displayed the lush, green environment of Sri Lanka. The rain and chanting from a nearby temple contributed to the peacefulness. The rooms are well appointed & comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The staff are kind, helpful and cheerful.

It was a shame cruise didnt operate due to maintenance. We managed to rent a motor boat with support of staff for a morning lagoon safari. Admire the hospitality and the support from the staff. Boat is full with privacy and security. We watched both sunset and sunrise. Totally new experience away from city life.
WiFi was not working and bathtub had leaking problems.

Room in the boat is great.
They charge 25 dollers per person for dinner without drink but the quality is very low. They used microwave to warm up the food.

We loved the location:- tranquil, gorgeous, and inspirational, especially the cruise - which was awesome! We also liked the attention paid to us by all staff members: Captain Koralage (Knowledgeable, obliging, and helpful), Butler Gayan (sweet, calm, and obliging), Chef Sampath (flexible and accommodating), and Pilot Kumara (amiable). During the cruise, they surprised us with a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. That was a nice gesture!
There was a thunderstorm when we were having dinner, so we had to shift our dining to the entrance/lobby. So, perhaps there can be better rain blinds in the dining area to keep the rain out? Just a suggestion!

Loved taking a cruise in the morning. This boat had a VERY NICE bathroom and good air conditioning. Meals were good.
It was advertised that there would be a cruise in the evening as well as the next morning. When we arrived, we were told that we could not take the evening cruise, only the morning cruise was available.
