Perfect hideaway and only 1,5-2 hours to the airport by car, so a good spot to start or end your journey. Super nice little apartment with your own kitchenette to cook something small. Its on the first floor so you have an amazing view from your terrace to the river right in front of the garden. Very nice quiet area, could have a few more restaurant options nearby but if you dont mind walking a bit the town is not far. And the main beach is perfect for swimming! Our breakfast was also very nice, a mix of western and local things. The owner of the house is very nice and super helpful with anything. Would definitely come again and recommend this place for a very fair price!

Superb place overlooking the river. You can see the evening sunset from the balcony. Food is delicious too. Highly recommended .

Very nice and helpful host with good english skills. We had the all floor for us, with kitchen and even living room! The place we stayed was very comfy, spacious and cleaned, we even had a TV that works! Breakfast was really good. The view from the apartment to the river was beautiful.

Bandula and his family are very caring and friendly hosts. Little treats, like an afternoon coffee served at the river, unexpectedly just materialise as you think about it, the bicycle appears at the door step right after you mention it. Any information shared is helpful and trustworthy. Breakfast is great.

The house is right on the river and our host was able to organise a river safari for us within minutes of our arrival! Our host also very kindly drove us in his tuk tuk to the Brief Garden and Lunuganga Estate. We had a wonderful stay!

Great breakfast, owner went out of his way to accommodate. Very zen atmosphere next to the river, away from the tourist resorts at the beach.

The host -Bandu was very friendly and helpful. He even took us around for dinner and spa in his tuk tuk free od charge. The breakfast that he served was really good. The location is wonderful with river view.
There is construction going on and so there was a bit of distrubance but our host tried to keep the disturbance to its minimum.

The service received was fantastic, really made me feel at home.
The property had its own private entrance, balcony area, and views of the lake.
The WiFi was properly the best ive had in Sri Lanka, no issues at all.
The breakfast was perfect, egg, toast, rottis fruit, juice, tea.
The owner also organised me a boat Safari within 10 minutes, pick up from end of garden, and also took me yo a local festival.
