Beautiful traditional property set in stunning location right next to the beach. Calm and quiet perfect for a relaxing trip. Stones throw away from Bentota which can be accessed by tuktuk. Staff are very polite and always made the effort to chat and ensure we were entertained.
Mattress was terribly uncomfortable and needs to be changed Food was ok, but disappointed with the lack of local/ traditional options - there is an assumption that tourists want international cuisine - menu should be made more accessible i.e. provide a set menu with a couple of options each day, as it was unclear which foods were included in our half board (breakfast and dinner) option Staff were nice, but a bit overly pushy to sell or accomodate - my advice to staff - let the guests enjoy at their time at their own free will

Very friendly and helpful, good size room which was clean and welcoming.
It was my husbands birthday and they had a made a lovely cake and put balloons in the room.
nice clean pool and very well kept garden.
Food was enjoyable, Sri Lanka breakfast was very nice.
Just over the road from a beautiful long beach.

Wonderful place immersed in a wonderful and well -kept garden with swimming pool, exceptional location to visit the wonders that offers Bentota and surroundings. Beautiful room with all comforts and with a fantastic big terrace!
I ate very well in their restaurant, very good cook !! Thank you so much! Thanks to the very nice and always available Dinesh who brought me everywhere with his Tuc Tuc he did me as a perfect tourist guide Thanks to all the precious staff! I will come back.

Good location when you like staying far from the city center. almost private beach just across the road, 3 mins walk.
Very good host who is ready to help with all questions and really tried to fix Wi-Fi connection when we needed it for work.
When we continued our journey we realized that in house suggestions like spa/dinner was more expensive that usual rates across Sri Lanka

Tasty breakfasts with good coffee, helpful administration, nice territory and swimming pool, comfortable rooms. 3 minutes walking from the beautiful wild beach. It's important to mention that Wi-Fi and some lights in the room are still working even if there is a power cut.
The railway is really close to the hotel, so it could be noisy sometimes, but fortunately trains don't run too often. Prices and portion sizes in the hotel restaurant were not so good as Sri Lanka usually offers.

Tranquility of the beautifully kept garden. Lots of birds from kingfisher to hummingbirds.
Perfectly maintained pool.
The beach only 2 minutes walk.
Staff very attentive especially housekeeper and gardener.
The food could be improved although great food at restaurant on the beach.

Very nice place. The propriety is beautiful. Quiet place in front of the beach. You can reach the town very quickly by tuk tuk. The room was big. Good food and the team was very nice. I recommend this place if you like to be outside of the center.

The pool is a great temperature.
The breakfast was ok.
Location is good, if you are looking for somewhere a bit remote, close to a beautiful not crowded beach. We spent our last two days at this hotel before flying back to the UK so just wanted to relax a bit. There is a turtle hatchery within walking distance and we went on a river safari organised by the hotel, but there is otherwise not much going on in the close vicinity of the hotel.
If you get to the beach early enough you will catch the fishermen hauling in their catch for the day which is super interesting to watch.
The hotel is clearly a bit old and requires some maintenance.

Very nice hotel! The staff is amazing and very friendly. The food is nice. The pool is clean and the surroundings are beautiful. If you have any requests just ask for Udesh, Dinesh (tuk tuk driver) or Sanka!
I will definitely go back there! I highly recommend this place.
