Very good accommodation for family stay, clean & comfort and located at quite location. I will recommend this for a family stay. It has AC, Swimming pool and amble parking, we enjoy our stay there.

Canal Villa is a very nice and pleasant place. its located not far from the beach - walking distance 15-20 min. By the way the ocean in Bentota is marvelous: all the time wavy and noisy) Also its not far from Aluthgama where you can find different kinds of shops.
The villa has not large but beautiful greenery area with plants and trees around, and a swimming pool in the center.
Our room was spacious with a cosy balcony looking at the territory.
Special regards and thanks to Bodi, the man who was taking care of us from the first minute of our arrival and till the late evening when we left. He was very supportive, welcoming and kind to us.
Every morning we had very delicious SriLanka style breakfast. Missing them a lot)
Our communication with the hotel manager/owner was not so sunny as other things here. First, on last day of our stay when we had asked to prolong the room till the evening (because our flight was at night) he charged the amount that was higher than our half-day rate we paid. Of course, we said No.
And by the end there was some tension with payment for our stay.
So this experience was opposite to all other things we had saw while staying at Canal Villa.

Some mosquitoes were there. They have provided vapor rizer but it not meet the expected. If you can please arrange something for this problem.

We absolutely loved our stay at Canal villa! Everything was just perfect :) it was very clean, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the service is really good and the whole team including the owner is super friendly. We had really a great time and felt at home :). We definitely recommend this place to everyone :).

Its necessary to get a Tuk Tuk to get to beach and restaurants, too far to walk
